Mkombozi Vocational Training & Community Development Centre

Mkombozi Vocational Training & Community Development Centre MVTCDC was created in 1999 as a community-based organization committed to liberating local residents from oppression, both social and economic.

We empower community members to assess their own needs and work towards freedom from economic, social, and political oppression while creating positive social change. The founder, Asha K. Mshana, is a retired home-economics teacher who decided to take advantage of her experience and her skills to support vulnerable groups. The centre has grown and developed to welcome 71 students this year.
