About Job Information
Nyantira Mennonite pre and primary schools is a school owned by Kanisa la Mennonite Tanzania (KMT), Nyantira congregation – Tanzania Mennonite Church in English. It is an English medium school located at Nyantira, Kiyombo Street, Kitunda Ward, Ilala - Dar es Salaam.
Position 1: Science Teachers
Job Title: Science Teachers
Required Qualifications.
 Minimum: Diploma in Primary School Education, with a focus on Science
 Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Primary School Education, specialising in Science
 Proven experience of three (3) years in teaching primary school students is an advantage.
 Passion for teaching and developing students in the subjects of Science.
Key Responsibilities.
 Teach Science to primary school students, ensuring a high standard of instruction.
 Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in a clear, engaging, and interactive manner.
 Assess and evaluate students' progress regularly, providing feedback to both students and parents.
 Prepare and distribute learning materials and resources effectively.
 Establish and maintain a positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
 Work collaboratively with other teachers to enhance the learning environment.
 Participate in school activities and events as required by the Head teacher.
 Uphold school policies and contribute to maintaining a healthy school culture.
 Communicate regularly with the school administration and parents regarding students’ academic progress.
 Other related responsibilities assigned by his/her supervisor.
