Closing the Academic Year Through Moot Court

Our academic year concluded with yet another enriching practical learning experience through Moot Court.

Last Friday, our Law students participated in an Interโ€‘Class Moot Court Competition on Constitutional and Human Rights Law, showcasing their research, advocacy, courtroom skills, and teamwork.

Today, we also celebrated and motivated the students who excelled in the competition. Tokens of appreciation were presented to the Best Oralists by the DVCโ€“ARC, in the presence of the Head of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Business Studies.

We are especially proud that the Best Oralist came from the first year, a clear reflection of the potential and commitment demonstrated by our students.

Our gratitude goes to the Law Cognate team, University Management, instructors, and most importantly, the students, for their dedication and active participation throughout the year. Kwa kujitoa kwao, moot court imeendelea kuwa sehemu muhimu ya kujifunza sheria kwa vitendo.

The courtroom is set, the arguments are ready, and the advocacy begins.

Join us for the Inter-Class Moot Court Competition in Constitutional and Human Rights Law, where our law students will put their legal knowledge into practice through simulated court proceedings.
The competition offers a platform to strengthen legal research, oral advocacy, courtroom etiquette, and practical litigation skills while promoting constitutionalism and the protection of human rights.
