We are incredibly grateful to everyone who responded to Mama Kellie’s letter and helped us raise the funds needed for a dependable vehicle for the O’Brien School for the Maasai.

In a remote community like ours, dependable transportation is not a luxury—it is a necessity. It allows our teachers and staff to reach school, visit families, transport supplies, attend government meetings, and respond when emergencies arise.

Because of your generosity, we now have a vehicle we can count on to help us continue this work every day.

This week, several former O’Brien students returned to visit after completing their Form Six national exams in Tanzania — the final secondary exams that serve as the gateway to university education. They shared both the challenges they face and the hope they now carry for their futures.

And yet here they stand: educated, determined, and dreaming bigger than what once felt possible.

It started with one woman who said yes…

Yes to a village.
Yes to children who had been overlooked.
