Mzumbe-Unido Internship Program An internship program for Tanzanian Higher Learning Institutions Graduates and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

The United Nations Joint Programme for Youth Employment (JPYE), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and Mzumbe University Dar es Salaam Campus College (MUDCC) are jointly implementing a project which is funded by Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) on “Enhancing Youth Employability and Entrepreneurship in Tanzania”. Project funded by, The project

aims at increasing employability of young Higher Learning Institutions (HLIs) graduates by placing them as interns in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in particular in productive sectors such as manufacturing and ago-processing. The internship will take place between the months of February to June 2016. The SMEs will be assisted by a Mzumbe University team in how to articulate their needs for skilled labor in developing a Job Profile and corresponding Job Description for the interns.
