Between 3 and 6 Sept 2019 ROMME Centre participted in the IOM organised dissemination workshop of the SOPs for protecting, assisting and referring trafficked children which took place in Arusha.⤵

Today 27 July, 2019 ROMME Centre has successfully handed over a 17 year old PV of Human Trafficking to its counterpart based in Mombasa. The PV had a 7 month old baby.

The event took place at Horohoro - Lungalunga border.

We thank all who have provided assistance to us: Anti-Trafficking Secretariat, DMI, Immigration, UBT and Social Welfare Dept.

We started assisting these 2 PVs w.e.f. 3 July 2019.

Human Trafficking victims are not criminals. They need protection and assistance.

On 26 June, 2019 ROMME Centre did facilitate the launch of the book "VIWANDA: Moving Tanzania Forward".

Dr. Tulia Ackson the Deputy Speaker of the Tanzania National Assembly, on behalf of the Speaker Hon. Job Ndugai, was the Chief Guest at this event.

ROMME Centre, in collaboration with ESAURP, will facilitate the launch a book titled "VIWANDA: Moving Tanzania Forward" written by Prof. Ted Maliyamkono and Dr. Hugh Mason.

Hon. Job Ndugai, the Speaker of Tanzania Parliament will officiate this event which will take place in Msekwa Hall in Dodoma on 26 June, 2019.
