Art in Tanzania Internships Art in Tanzania is an NGO based in Madale Village, Dar es Salaam. This page is dedicated to informing academic institutions about internships at the NGO.

Art in Tanzania is a NGO, registered in Finland and Tanzania, receiving around 1,500 volunteers and interns annually. We typically have 100+ volunteers in the country working in our various community development projects. We currently work in Dar es Salaam, Moshi, Karatu, the Masai tribal lands and Zanzibar. Most of our projects are teaching oriented but we also work with orphanages, women's group

s, environmental projects, and in the medical & health, arts, music sectors. Art in Tanzania has our own music studio (Mzuka Records) as well as youth magazine (Fiesta) which focus on empowering today's youth by addressing social issues. This page was established to serve as an informant and discussion group among our old, present and incoming volunteers, as well as to deliver information about Art in Tanzania and our newest projects.
