Young people took the lead in creating conversations around Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) during an Anti-Stigma Champions Session held on 18 August 2026 by Binti Salha Foundation in collaboration with EngenderHealth Tanzania

Bringing together 30 young people from higher learning institutions and the community, the session encouraged open dialogue on SRHR stigma and discrimination while strengthening participants’ knowledge and confidence to become advocates for change.

When young people are informed, empowered, and given a voice, they can help create communities where everyone can access SRHR information and services freely, safely, and without stigma. 💜

On 7 August 2026, our Project Officer Bibie Abdallah participated in the Multi-Stakeholder Dialogue on the Law of Marriage Act, 1971, organised by Msichana Initiative (MI) and held at Serena Hotel, Dar es Salaam.

Under the theme “One Voice, One Reform: Bridging Collective Efforts on the Amendment of the Law of Marriage Act,” the dialogue brought together girls, young women leaders, government representatives, law officers, women-led organisations, and traditional and religious leaders to discuss collective efforts towards amending the Law of Marriage Act and ending child marriage in Tanzania.

We are proud to be part of conversations that champion girls’ rights, education, dignity, protection, and equal opportunities to reach their full potential.

Young voices. Digital power. Better SRHR outcomes.
Binti Salha Foundation in collaboration with EngenderHealth Tanzania, is launching a youth-led SRHR digital campaign this August, creating a space for young people to speak up, share knowledge, challenge harmful myths, and advocate for informed and empowered choices on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights.

Through digital platforms, young voices will lead conversations that matter, amplify accurate SRHR information, and inspire positive change in our communities.
