Leo tuko katika ulimwengu wa AI na teknolojia, simu, roboti, kompyuta... kila kitu kinafanyika kwa kubonyeza tu.

Lakini maendeleo haya hayapaswi kuua sehemu ya uwajibikaji na kazi za mikono kwa watoto.

Kwa nini kazi za mikono bado ni muhimu hata na AI?
1. Kujenga nidhamu na uwajibikaji* - Kumwagia maua, kufagia, kuosha vyombo humfundisha mtoto "kazi ni heshima"
2. Kukuza ubongo na ujuzi - Mikono ikifanya kazi, akili inafanya kazi pia. Ujuzi wa kutatua matatizo unatoka hapa
3. Afya - Kaa chini + simu siku nzima = uvivu na magonjwa. Kazi za mikono zinampa mtoto mwendo
4. Kujitegemea - Siku moja AI inaweza kushindwa, umeme ukakatika. Lakini mtoto anayejua kupika, kushona, kutengeneza... hatapotea

Tufanyeje usawa kati ya AI na Kazi za Mikono?
Mfano mzuri:
- Tumia AI kujifunza jinsi ya kupanda mboga, halafu nenda kwa vitendo shambani
- Tumia YouTube kuona jinsi ya kushona, halafu *shona kwa mkono
- Tumia *app* kukumbusha ratiba ya kusafisha, halafu fanya mwenyewe

Teaching kids to brush their teeth early is a gift that lasts their whole life.

Brushing twice a day with floss removes plaque, which means fewer cavities and fewer painful trips to the dentist. Parents also save a lot of money in the long run. Kids who brush well have fresh breath, so they can laugh and talk at school without feeling shy. Healthy teeth also mean a healthy body, because gum infections and cavities can get into the bloodstream. Research shows that bad oral health is linked to heart problems and diabetes later in life, so a clean mouth is where good health starts.
