CELEBRATING 20 YEARS OF EMPOWERING TANZANIANS!

Bayport Financial Services Tanzania has marked its 20th anniversary with a TZS 100 million donation of 20 HP computers and two all-in-one printers to the Education Department of Kibamba Constituency.

The ICT equipment will strengthen education administration, improve digital record management, enhance communication, and support better service delivery to teachers, parents, and students.

Over the past 20 years, Bayport has served more than 430,439 Tanzanians and disbursed over TZS 529 billion in loans, helping thousands of customers achieve their financial goals while making meaningful contributions to community development.

The donation also marks the launch of the "Make Kibamba Digital" initiative, which aims to transform education and public service delivery through technology.

Congratulations to Bayport Financial Services Tanzania on this remarkable milestone and for continuing to invest in Tanzania's future through education and digital transformation.

Bayport is looking for a strategic and customer-focused Head of Customer Experience to design and lead a seamless, trusted, and customer-centric experience across all touchpoints.

This role is critical in driving customer satisfaction, loyalty, retention, and advocacy while embedding strong customer protection and service excellence across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Define and implement Bayport’s Customer Experience (CX) strategy aligned to the company vision
🔹 Own the end-to-end customer journey across call centre, training centres, and field channels
🔹 Drive service excellence, SLAs, and continuous improvement in service delivery
🔹 Lead customer insights, NPS analysis, complaints management, and root-cause resolution
🔹 Improve processes, digital journeys, and self-service adoption
🔹 Strengthen customer protection, governance, and regulatory compliance
🔹 Build and lead a high-performing, customer-centred culture
🔹 Drive customer financial education and responsible lending initiatives

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
• Master’s degree or CX professional certifications (e.g. CCXP) is an added advantage
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Customer Experience
• At least 4 years in a senior leadership role
• Strong knowledge of digital loan products, CRM, customer protection regulations, and analytics
• Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Bayport Tanzania is looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Digital Lending to lead the end-to-end strategy, performance, and governance of our digital lending products, including NipeBoost.

This role is critical in driving sustainable portfolio growth, strong credit quality, operational efficiency, and responsible lending through data, technology, and customer-centric digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute Bayport’s mobile lending strategy
• Lead the design, optimisation, and scaling of NipeBoost loans
• Drive digital loan portfolio growth while maintaining credit quality
• Oversee credit risk, data analytics, and portfolio performance
• Optimise collections strategies and customer lifecycle management
• Leverage digital platforms, CRM, and lending systems for scalability
• Promote responsible lending and customer financial wellness
• Ensure strong governance, reporting, and regulatory compliance
• Build and lead high-performing, accountable digital teams

Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of digital lending and financial products
• Proven ability to manage and grow digital loan portfolios
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills
• Strategic thinker with strong ex*****on capability
• High integrity, ownership mindset, and results orientation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, Computer Science, or related field
• Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is an added advantage
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in financial services, banking, or fintech
• At least 5 years’ experience in digital/mobile lending
• 3–5 years in a leadership or management role
