Globalization had introduced many challenges. It has made sustainable development of our communities an imperative, not just an option.
Today’s environment and market place presents a very complex and changing landscape. There is tremendous need for information on how to stay at the cutting edge and how to employ the best clean technologies and effective environmental management practices. There is also the need to build skills and knowledge to ensure proper utilization of our communities’ natural and human resources and “meeting the needs of today without compromising the ability of the future”.
