Strengthening professional practice through reflection and dialogue.

Health professionals at Ndola Teaching Hospital in Zambia ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฒ, including nurses, OBGYN specialists, ECSACOG residents, and other practitioners, took part in a Values Clarification and Attitude Transformation (VCAT) Workshop facilitated by ECSACOG. Through participatory discussions, group reflection, and practical scenarios, the workshop created space to examine professional values and respectful care.

Through interactive learning and shared experiences, participants explored how attitudes, communication, and ethical practice influence the quality of care provided to women and girls โ€” reinforcing the importance of empathy, professionalism, and patient-centred decision-making.

Together, these engagements continue to strengthen compassionate, respectful, and nonjudgmental care in our health systems..
