｜Mercury (G1) - 自然科學：探索植物的祕密｜
在本次Science課程中，孩子們一起認識了植物的基本構造——根、莖與葉。課堂中，孩子們透過實際觀察植物，仔細記錄不同部位的形狀與特色，並一起討論各個部位在植物生長中的重要功能，例如根負責吸收水分與養分，莖能支撐植物並運送養分，而葉子則能進行光合作用。孩子們在觀察與討論的過程中，也逐漸建立起對植物構造的基礎概念。
在認識植物各部位後，孩子們進行了有趣的「樹葉拓印」體驗活動。大家將葉子放在紙張下方，用鉛筆輕輕描繪，原本不容易被注意到的葉脈紋路慢慢浮現在紙上。當細緻又獨特的紋理一點一點被拓印出來時，孩子們都忍不住發出驚嘆聲！透過觀察與動手體驗，孩子們不僅更了解植物的構造，也在探索中感受到科學與自然的奇妙。
｜Mercury (G1) - Science :Exploring the Secrets of Plants｜
In this Science lesson, the children learned about the basic parts of a plant—roots, stems, and leaves. During the class, they carefully observed real plants and recorded the shapes and characteristics of each part. Together, we discussed the important functions these parts play in plant growth: roots absorb water and nutrients, stems support the plant and transport nutrients, and leaves carry out photosynthesis. Through observation and discussion, the children gradually built a basic understanding of plant structures.
After learning about the different parts of plants, the children participated in a fun leaf rubbing activity. They placed leaves under a sheet of paper and gently shaded over them with pencils. As they colored, the veins of the leaves slowly appeared on the paper. When the delicate and unique patterns emerged, the children couldn’t help but express their amazement. Through both observation and hands-on exploration, the children not only deepened their understanding of plant structures but also experienced the wonder of science and nature.
