TEDxDominicanInternationalSchool is an independently-organized student-based initiative that seeks to spotlight brilliant ideas through a TED-like experience.
The TEDxDominicanIntlSchool team has invited six distinguished speakers from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds to ensure a truly unique and unforgettable TED event.
These speakers include:
1. Joanne Lin, a 1.9 million-subscribed social influencer.
2. Royce Hong, Chairman of Panasonic Taiwan.
3. Kimberly Chen, a Taiwan wake surfing athlete who ranks #1 internationally in CWSA; 4. Jack Huang, Vice President of the International Equestrian Federation (FEI).
5. Camila Sáenz, CEO and Co-Founder of TUTEEM.
6. Cindy Lin, project manager and community builder.

Dear parents and students of DIS, thank you all for your support for your congratulations to those years masquerade event. Unfortunately this years event was not open to all due to the pandemic, but I do want to express great gratitude to the VIP committee member that were asked to come help with the event. With the approval of the school and partial support from the VIP, we were able to arrange a pony ride this year. We do encourage more VIP parents to join our committee and again, a big thanks to all that took time out of their personal schedules to help out today. I believe we made a memorable day for our school.

疫情期間，偏鄉孩童在無法上學的情況下，沒有辦法學習。因此我們希望募集使用完的電子產品 (手機，平板，筆電和電腦) ，並捐贈給被教育部列為 極偏 的學校。如果您願意幫助偏鄉孩童有一個更好的學習資源，麻煩您遵循以下步驟，來捐贈您的二手電子產品，謝謝:

一、填寫 Google 表單，並選擇要捐贈的學校

二、申請到府送件(請貨運公司到家收件) 或前往家中附近的便利超商投寄包裹 (填完Google 表單後，將提供寄送訊息)

三、學校將協助發送捐贈的物品給當校需要的孩童

四、於學校孩童收到捐贈物後，我們也會上傳孩童與這些捐贈物品的快樂合照喔!
