Lab Adventure in Charm City! 🦀🔬
Last week we had the incredible opportunity attend at the 73rd ASMS Conference in Baltimore—affectionately known as “Charm City.” Over five days conference we enjoyed:
☕ Breakfast seminars hosted by leading mass-spectrometry companies
📊 Poster sessions, with fresh topics each day
🎤 Oral presentations, also on rotating themes
🛠️ Evening workshops with cutting-edge techniques and themes
🥂 Hospitality suite for meet-ups, forging new collaborations
On the final conference day we capped things off with a social gathering at the National Aquarium in Baltimore, surrounded by towering jellyfish tanks and vibrant coral exhibits.
After “tourist on duty” kicked in, we hopped over to Washington, D.C., where we strolled past the Washington Monument, marveled at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, and explored many more of the city’s world-class museums.
It was hot, we ate our weight in chips, and above all, we left feeling inspired, energized, and more connected than ever. Here’s to scientific discovery—and to the next journey ahead! 🧪✈️
