Yu-Tsai's Classes 2 Zhi, 3Zhi, and 6 Red have won the #1 award in this year's New Taipei City English singing contest!!

We're the only school that has won number 1 in all 3 categories (lower graders, middle graders and higher graders)!!

We have a group of adorable and talented students AND we have a super team of amazing teachers whose creativity, tenacity and teamwork help make these awesome videos possible!

Some teachers did it at school, some at home, but no matter where they were, everyone hosted a successful first-time ever online parents day!
The COVID pandemic has changed many things, but not always for the worse.

Parents with more than one kid at school are finally able to be in more than one classroom at the same time (using multiple devices). Teachers won’t have to worry about whether there’s enough classroom space if both parents of every student want to join the meeting.

As the saying goes: “Well begun is half done.”Together, we’re ready to face whatever challenges pandemic will throw at us. 🤝🤜🏻🤛🏻

Day 2 of online learning at Yu-Tsai:
Keeping a class of 38 grade 1 students engaged is already not easy when teaching was done in person, imagine how much more difficult it can be when teaching online!
These pictures were taken during one of the bilingual grade 1 online PE classes. Teacher Stephen was going all out to keep the class fun and physical!

Unexpectedly, it’s now Taiwan’s turn to start learning online. On a day’s notice, our teachers started teaching online on 5/18.
For most families and teachers, it’s a brand new experience. Many kids were super excited to see their classmates and teachers online. At the end of the day, the most frequently asked question by the teachers was: how to control the mute button so that a student cannot unmute him/herself? 😅
Once online learning in virtual classrooms become a norm, teachers may wish to have the same function in her control once we go back to real classroom teaching🤣
