Another reason to remain single: choosing peace over drama.

One of my colleagues had accused me of being impolite to him days ago, but I do not know what I did to cross him. And then another coworker said that he would like to apologize.

Regardless of what had happened, I felt betrayed. How can a person accuse anyone with no solid evidence and willingly apologize without even explaining why in the first place?

In the end, I commit myself not to get in contact with this person anymore in case he unleashes his unjustified anger toward me. In a professional working space, this type of behavior shouldn’t be tolerated.

If we are close friends, we might have an open discussion on what went wrong. Fortunately, we were not.

By this incident, setting up a boundary, either physically or emotionally, can help me guard my own aura without being affected by negative energy.
