三位女孩帶著不同的動機來到明月館，從最初握劍時的忐忑，到面對草蓆時的深呼吸，她們在引導下逐漸掌握揮斬的雛型。當刀劃過草蓆、清響而落，現場的驚呼取代了猶豫；看著她們從「我不行」到「我做到了」的神情轉變，那份由內而發的自信，正是練習武道最美的一刻✨✨✨

看著她們成功的喜悅，指導者的我們也再次被提醒：武道真正的強大，從來不是來自性別或體力的優勢，而是始於內心的平靜與專注。

農曆年前最後一練，也是明月館尾牙！帶大家品嚐在地最頂日料（aka 我家巷口），用美食犒賞我們遠征日本、斬獲金牌的這一年！連餐廳大姐聽到我們拿金牌都都興奮歡呼，那份「與有榮焉」的熱情，比熱氣蒸騰的鮭魚味噌湯還要暖！🍲

武道前途悠遠，數不盡的知識仍在等著我們學習。來年我們繼續並肩作戰、再創高峰！⚔️✨

原本只是邀請 研武堂 舉辦年末的短刀作品小展，沒想到意外契合時事，促成了一場關於「遭遇持械歹徒如何自保」的實戰課程。

平日拔刀道的訓練雖講求「殘心」（Zanshin）－－即對周遭環境持續保持警惕的感知力－－或許能幫助我們提早察覺危險，但在缺乏短兵相接經驗的情況下，若真遇上無差別的「孤狼式」突襲，我們該如何應對？

「逃跑」絕對是最高原則。 危險現場的變數太多，在無法掌握局勢時，撤離永遠是第一要務；唯有在退無可退的絕境，才思考如何接戰。 研武堂 利用隨手可得的生活物品示範防禦，並交替使用模擬刀與開鋒短刀讓我們體驗…那半分殺氣未出、卻能引發內心深層恐懼的壓迫感，才是最真實的課題。

What started as a knife art exhibition with 研武堂 turned into a crucial lesson on survival: How to protect yourself against an armed attacker.

We in Battodo train to be aware of our surroundings ("Zanshin"), but detecting danger is different from facing it. Escape is always priority #1. Run first. Only fight if you are cornered. We simulated scenarios using everyday items against foam and live blades. The psychological pressure of facing a real knife taught us more about fear than any technique could.

It's said that "if you can't even outsmart a Turkish ice cream vendor, stop dreaming about disarming a guy with a knife." Disrupt their focus, buy time, and run. Do not be a hero — be a survivor.

原來高段風範下的「教學」是如此細膩

泰國曼谷隊在日本大會時展現了無比的熱情，與我們建立了莫名緊密的「ㄊㄞ」（T(h)ai-）式友誼。這次他們在曼谷舉辦研討會，更邀請到了遠自華盛頓 D.C. 的六段鍊士大前輩老師親臨指導－－身為兄弟隊怎麼能不捧場一下！

以往大會前的訓練，往往因為人數眾多，高段的老師們難以一一指點，但這一次，我們終於體驗到聯盟老師從頭到尾的縝密指導！

不僅是移師草地，讓我們實際感受刀法與環境地形的交互變化；更令人震撼的是同樣的基礎動作，由老師拆解教學後竟有如此深遠的差異。每一個看似平常的動作，老師都能從歷史背景、招式變體、實務應用到獨門訣竅娓娓道來。加上我們接二連三的提問，讓大家整日沉浸在探討拔刀道基礎的幸福，連休息都捨不得！

Joining our friends in Bangkok for a seminar with a 6th-Dan Renshi Sensei from D.C. was an eye-opening experience.

Far from the usual crowded lectures before Taikais, we received detailed, personalized correction. From training on uneven grass to diving deep into the history and practical application of every basic movements, the depth of knowledge was astounding. The interaction between the Sensei's insights and the students' questions kept us training all day long without wanting to stop.

Grateful for the "T(h)ai-" friendship and the profound lesson in swordsmanship!

不分種族、國籍與身分，前輩們齊心拔刀！

自從第一年到了日本，我們才見識到什麼是「國際拔刀道聯盟」。人們有著不同的背景故事、不同的處世哲學，卻都同樣地以中村泰三郎祖師「活人劍」的理念拔出刀揮斬。這些前輩們或以身教、或以言教為我們指點迷津，不為錢財、不為自滿、不為名勢，只是單純地在武道上提攜後進，而我們能夠成長，甚至得到金牌，都得感謝這些前輩的純粹。

打開眼界，才知道自己有多麼微不足道！

Senpais unite with drawn swords, transcending race, nationality, and background!

It was only after going to Japan for the first time that we truly understood what an "International" means in IBF. People from diverse backgrounds and with different philosophies share the same spirit in their practice as Nakamura Taisaburo sensei.

The senpais guided us not for money, self-satisfaction, or prestige, but purely to mentor the next generation in the way of Budo. Our growth, and even our gold medal, is a testament to their genuine dedication.

Small but radiant spark of Taiwan’s brilliance: gold 🥇 for shizan under 2 dan!

Just like a katana tempered in fire, its brilliance revealed only after the impurities are struck away. This gold medal carries immense meaning. It affirms a year of newly-developed training, validates the belief held deep within, and proves the direction we’ve been heading toward. By shedding arrogance, self-doubt, laziness, and greed, the path to fulfillment and joy has opened.

We now share this joy with every friend who deserves to bask in its glow!

也許表現不如預期，但台灣代表三人都已盡力展現一年來的訓練！

面對單組別近40人的白熱化競爭，前有新起之秀，後有資深前輩，加之明月館創館以來一直欠缺著「三資」－－師資、年資、物資－－的困頓處境中，唯一能依靠的只剩「天資」：自身的意志力與信念，不畏壓力、面對挑戰！

Facing such intense competition flanked by rising stars ahead and seasoned veterans behind, we who have long struggled with a lack of resources had no choice but to rely on our own willpower and unwavering belief. Undaunted by the pressure, we truly rose to the challenge!

在今年的大會之前，遊逛刀店時竟然遇到了熟悉的臉孔：向井老師！

老師不僅看到我們就叫出名字來，還很熱情關心起了我們。以前覺得老師很兇，總是不敢和老師長談，沒想到這次換了地點、換了身分、換了心態，竟發現老師實際和藹可親、善解人意，更透過我們彼此遇到的人生故事，發現了許多共同之處！

所屬團體不同，但練武所向卻同。奇緣際遇，他鄉遇故知！

By a twist of fate, we found kindred spirits in a distant land! Different places, different roles, and different mindsets, yet we discovered so many shared life stories and unexpected similarities with Mukai Sensei.

國際拔刀道聯盟第27回全國大會於上周末（10/26）順利落幕！

有史以來最多參賽人數！來自日本各地、美國、英國、泰國、澳洲、印度、南非、摩洛哥，以及我們台灣的選手齊聚一堂、上百劍士大展身手！從升段測驗到大會競賽都如火如荼較勁著！
