【明志簡介】
〔沿革〕
1960年代，台灣的工業和經濟正逢起步階段，但工業中堅幹部不足，為加強人才培育以因應發展所需，台塑企業創辦人王永慶先生及王永在先生乃於1963年12月捐資創設成立本校。
本校位於新北市泰山區貴子里山麓，原名為「私立明志工業專科學校」，佔地62公頃，校園綠地廣闊，景緻優美宜人。二百多年前，清乾隆年間，福建汀洲貢生胡焯猷先生所創設的「明志書院」舊址，和本校相毗鄰，當時人文薈萃，為台灣北部文化發祥地，取名「明志」，旨在勉勵師生，效法先賢，以承先啟後為己任。

憑藉良好辦學績效及因應台灣經濟發展與產業升級之人才需求，遂於1999年獲准改制為「明志技術學院」，並連續六年獲教育部督學視導評為優等。因此於2004年獲准改名為「明志科技大學」...

🎊賀本校115年度「教育部獎補助私立技專校院整體發展經費」總補助金額再創歷史新高，學生人均補助突破3萬元，名列第一！
本校今年獲教育部獎勵補助款總金額 1億3,848萬1,840 元，核定金額較去年大幅成長1,051萬9,654元，顯現本校辦學績效獲教育部高度肯定。
明志全校僅4,479位學生，大學部註冊率100%，學生人均補助排名第一，最高性價比顯然在明志！

🎉 【國際學術肯定｜Research.com 2026 優秀科學家排名】
明志科技大學有機電子研究中心主任暨電子工程系劉舜維講座教授，近日獲國際學術平台 Research.com 評選為 2026 年 Electronics and Electrical Engineering 領域全球優秀科學家之一，排名台灣第 92 名、全球第 4,788 名。該排名主要依據學者於特定領域之 D-index（Discipline H-index）、學術論文與引用表現進行評估，反映研究者於國際學術領域之研究影響力與能見度。

劉舜維教授表示，看到結果時其實自己也有些意外，並感謝明志科技大學、研究團隊以及國內外合作夥伴長期以來的支持。未來研究團隊將持續投入有機與鈣鈦礦光電、感測、影像及能源收集等前瞻技術研究，進一步提升台灣於國際光電與電子材料領域之研發能量與國際影響力。

Professor Shun-Wei Liu, Chair Professor of the Department of Electronic Engineering and Director of the Organic Electronics Research Center (OERC) at Ming Chi University of Technology, has recently been recognized by Research.com as one of the Best Scientists in the field of Electronics and Electrical Engineering in the 2026 edition, ranking 92 in Taiwan and 4,788 in worldwide. The ranking is primarily based on the researcher’s D-index (Discipline H-index), publication record, and citation performance within the specific discipline, reflecting international research visibility and academic impact in the field.

Professor Liu expressed that he was also somewhat surprised when seeing the result, and sincerely appreciated the long-term support from Ming Chi University of Technology, his research team, and international collaborators. In the future, the research team will continue advancing frontier research in organic and perovskite optoelectronics, sensing, imaging, and energy harvesting technologies, with the goal of further enhancing Taiwan’s international research visibility in photonics, electronics, and advanced materials.

明志科技大學綠色能源電池研究中心主任楊純誠講座教授及有機電子研究中心主任暨電子工程系劉舜維講座教授，近日獲國際學術平台 Research.com 評選為 2026 年全球優秀科學家。楊純誠講座教授於Materials 領域排名台灣第 97名、全球第 8,375 名，另於Chemistry 領域排名台灣第 100名、全球第 12,263 名。此外劉舜維講座教授於Electronics and Electrical Engineering 領域排名台灣第 92名、全球第 4,788 名。
該排名主要依據學者於特定領域之 D-index（Discipline H-index）、學術論文與引用表現進行評估，反映研究者於國際學術領域之研究影響力與能見度。
