From fingerprint tracking and footprint analysis to reconstructing crime scenes, we’re turning curiosity into structured thinking. It’s not just about finding the “who”—it’s about learning the “how” and “why” in perfect English.

Cooking with Mr. Louis was a sizzling success! 👨‍🍳🔥
This week, our little chefs stepped into the kitchen to master the art of culinary precision. From holding a knife properly to chopping garlic and shallots like pros, we learned that every great dish starts with the basics. We even discovered the secret to perfect garlic paste—just a pinch of salt! 🧄✨
Beyond the recipes, we practiced a true chef’s habit: keeping our stations clean while we work. The grand finale? Searing salmon to perfection—definitely not an easy job, but our Lumineers rose to the challenge! 🐟💪

本週的烹飪課，我們和 Mr. Louis 一起變身小小主廚！ 👨‍🍳🔥
從學習正確的握刀姿勢，到練習切碎大蒜與紅蔥頭，孩子們發現美味的秘訣往往藏在細節裡——原來加一小撮鹽，就能把蒜末變成濃郁的蒜泥！🧄✨
除了廚藝，我們更強調專業廚師的好習慣：隨時保持工作檯面的整潔。最後的重頭戲是挑戰乾煎鮭魚，這可不是件容易的事，但看著大家專注的神情，這份美味絕對值得！🐟💪

🥞 Pancake Science through yeast and bubbles
Our classroom was filled with the sweet aroma of pancakes and curiosity! ✨
We turned our Global Chefs session into a delicious science experiment to explore the mystery of yeast and bubbles. We tested three different batches to see how they would rise. The children were amazed to see how each batch had a completely different level of fluffiness! By using their hands and observing with their eyes, they learned that the secret to a fluffy pancake is all in the bubbles.

我們帶著孩子們一起變身「科學主廚」，探索麵糊裡那些神奇的小氣泡。為了找出讓鬆餅變得蓬鬆的秘密，我們做了三種不同的實驗配方，感受氣泡產生的化學反應！
這就是我們最喜歡的：A Way of Thinking Through English。 不只是學英文單字，而是透過雙手的溫度與觀察的眼光，去理解這個世界運作的方式。

Unleashing our inner Alex Honnold! 🧗‍♂️✨
This week’s Explorers Bonus Class took us to the climbing gym for a thrilling adventure—inspired by Alex Honnold’s legendary Taipei 101 climb! Our instructors carefully guided everyone on how to practice ”safe falling“ first, giving our Explorers the confidence they needed to push their limits. We were so proud to see every one of them bravely scaling the walls and reaching new heights! It’s all about finding that spark of courage in every step. 🚀💪

本週的 Explorers Bonus Class 我們來到了攀岩教室，展開一場刺激的冒險旅程。在教練細心的指導下，孩子們先學會了最重要的「安全墜落」，有了這份安心感，每位 Explorers 都展現出驚人的勇氣，一步步攀上岩牆、突破高度！看著大家努力向上、勇敢挑戰自我的樣子，那份專注與成就感，就是學習過程中最療癒的小小幸福。🚀💪

Safety first, then flavor! 🔪✨ This week at Lumin, our "Global Chefs" dived into the wonderful world of food safety and spices.

We started with the essentials: learning the proper way to hold a knife—because every great chef knows that safety is the foundation of creativity! We then embarked on a sensory journey, playing spice guessing games to identify different herbs by their look and scent. 🌿👃

It was so rewarding to hear the kids confidently calling out the names of spices in English while exploring each cup's mystery. Education is most beautiful when it’s a hands-on experience that brings a little spark of joy to everyday life. ✨🚀

Lumin 教室裡，充滿了迷人的異國香氣。孩子們練習著最基礎、也最重要的廚房安全——如何正確且安全地握刀，看著那一張張專注的小臉龐，真的非常有專業主廚的架勢呢！

除了手感，我們更動用了鼻子與眼睛。透過有趣的「香料猜謎遊戲」，孩子們觀察杯子裡的祕密粉末，用嗅覺探索大自然的魔法，並在歡笑中大聲練習各種香料的英文名字。🌿👃

在 Lumin，學習不只是背單字，而是走進生活，感受那一份發現新事物的療癒與小小幸福。

誰說學英文只能坐在教室裡？這週六 Lumineers 化身為小小保齡球手，在歡笑中探索運動英文！🎳🌟 看到孩子們穿上保齡球鞋、互相加油打氣，並在投出好球後興奮地擊掌，這就是我們最想看到的，讓孩子在生活中自然地開口說英文。

Who says learning only happens in a classroom? Our Lumineers became ”Little Bowlers“ this Saturday! 🎳🌟 Seeing them support each other and celebrate with high-fives was the highlight of the day. This is how we inspire kids to speak English naturally through life experiences!
