J2 enjoyed learning about art and music! It was great fun to make music together by taking turns to play different instruments, such as tambourines, maracas and electric piano. Also, we listened to a very interesting story called "The Very Hungry Caterpillar", and afterwards our teachers let us answer many questions about the story!

This week J1 were learning about 'Safety' in all it's different forms. Whether it's our personal safety, when we are playing in the park, or staying safe from everyday dangers elsewhere. In our science lesson we looked at a lot of potentially dangerous things, and how to treat them with respect to be safe. We also saw lots of signs that are designed to keep us safe too. Then in our craft lesson, as a recognition of all the shapes and colors of these signs, we created our own pretty pictures. You did a good job of playing it safe this week J1. ❤️

“This week’s theme was ‘Safety.’ J3 learned about different safety rules, safety measures, and ways to stay safe at school and on the playground. They visited the playground to practice safe play habits. Since it was rainy on Friday, they stayed indoors and had fun playing Musical Mats with their classmates.”

This week's theme was Community, which got J1 looking around their neighborhood. We explored the businesses, introduced the various services, and saw the friendly spirit that makes up a good community. Then to keep fit we had fun and games in one of the great community facilities, our wonderful playground. We also played 'The floor is lava' on the stepping stones in the park. Good times J1.

This week’s theme was “Community.” J3 explored different places around the school’s neighborhood. They visited the public library, police station, real estate office, dental clinic, and convenience store to learn more about the people and services in the community. On Friday, the students had fun playing musical mats indoors with their friends.

🗣🏔Topic:Earthquake Safety Drill
嗶嗶嗶！今天我們都是最厲害的中和快樂瑪麗安「防震小烏龜」🐢✨
聽到警報聲響起，猜猜看寶貝們變成了什麼？
沒錯！大家瞬間縮起身體，變身成保護殼超硬的「小烏龜」啦！
老師今天帶著寶貝們練習了厲害的口訣喔：
1.Drop (趴下)：Drop down on your hands and knees.
把身體蹲得低低的。
2.Cover(掩護)：Protect your head and neck under a sturdy table.
躲進桌子底下，像小烏龜躲進殼裡。
3.Hold on(穩住)：
Hold on to your shelter until the shaking stops.
雙手抓緊桌腳，保護好我們珍貴的大腦袋！

雖然年紀小，但每個人都超級認真、沒有哭哭也沒有亂跑，在老師溫柔的引導下，大家都能按照平時裡教的，用雙手保護好頭部，不推也不擠，跟著老師的步伐，井然有序地疏散到安全的地方。學習保護自己，是成長過程中很重要的一課。看到孩子們表現得這麼勇敢又沉穩，老師們真的好驕傲！👍
