Autumn is the peak season for persimmons, and we can find that many residents in northern Taiwan can dry persimmons in the sun, presenting a golden beauty.
I would like to introduce persimmon cakes, a dessert made from persimmons. Have you ever tasted persimmon cakes?
It tastes soft and can be eaten straight away or added to your dishes to protect your gastrointestinal health.

Today, we will introduce another kind of northern Taiwanese food that is pork ball soup. Pork ball is one of the specialties in Hsinchu and is made from pork. Lots of families will add the pork balls into the soup. Our bodies will become warm after having a bowl of pork ball soup.

Besides, if you finish the form and attend the activity that day, we will give you a pack of Taiwanese snacks.

Today I want to introduce peanut brittle. Peanut brittle are made from peanuts and sugar. They come in different forms, some taste crispy and others taste like jelly. It is one of Taoyuan's famous traditional snacks. Peanut brittle is sweet and crisp, and you can feel the taste of malt candy and the aroma of peanuts inside. Taiwanese people love it very much! Have you ever tasted Peanut brittle?
Our team will set up a stall on 12/14 and we will let everyone know more about Peanuts brittle. We will also introduce other Northern Taiwanese food.

When Taiwanese mentions Taichung's famous souvenir, they always mention Suncake, because of its crispy and soft
texture and the milky aroma of the filling, making it one of the good choice for gift.
Have you tasted Suncake before？ If the answer is “NO”, it doesn't matter. Because when you come to our activity tomorrow, you can taste the small snacks in central Taiwan, and you can also know the story of these Taiwainese snacks!

Do you know that the dried fruits processed by the fruits are one of the popular souvenirs in Taiwan? We will introduce two kinds of dried fruits to you in this activity including dried mango in Tainan and dried guava in Kaohsiung. Do you want to know its taste?
