Travel and Tourism Program- Internship Orientation

The Internship Orientation will be held on Wednesday, April 29th at 12:10 PM in FF103. This session will cover vital information regarding internships and associated courses.

Furthermore, all our junior students are reminded that the Final Presentation for our seniors is scheduled for the afternoon of May 15th. Further logistical arrangements for this coming event will be announced.

Connecting Cultures- Sharing Perspectives

University Social Responsibility (USR) – International Cultural Exchange Program, organized by Ming Chuan University’s International College, Travel and Tourism Program.
This initiative brings student ambassadors together with local high school students through interactive activities and real-life engagement. By sharing cultural backgrounds and perspectives, participants will deepen mutual understanding and broaden their global outlook.
Let’s connect, exchange ideas, and grow together—because embracing cultural diversity helps build a more interconnected world.

For the second day of the Sustainable Tourism field trip, students went on a facility tour at Wellspring Hotel and Just Sleep Hotel Jiaoxi with the focus on various environment- and social- friendly practices the hotels have adopted. The next stop was Toucheng Old Streets, where they observed how local heritage and tradition are preserved. In the afternoon, students visited Beiguan Tidal Park and took a short hike along the beautiful rocky coastline before returning.

Senior students in Sustainable Tourism course this semester had the great opportunity of going on an overnight field trip in Yilan. On the first day, students first toured Zhuangwei Sand Dune Park and learned how the park contributes to conservation of natural environment and boost of local economy. In the afternoon, students visited National Center of Traditional Arts. They enjoyed watching a fun Taiwanese opera performance, and then went on a guided tour to observe the center’s efforts on cultural sustainability, including promoting traditional arts and crafts and preserving historical buildings.

As we gather to celebrate this joyous season, we would like to extend the warmest Christmas wishes to each of you. Embrace the spirit of adventure and the joy of discovery that our field embodies. 🌏 International Academic Exchange | BUUIC Visit
It was a pleasure welcoming Dr. Pitchayadejanant and the BUUIC Team for an insightful visit and productive discussions on future collaboration.
Our discussion focused on dual degree programs (2+2 & 3+1 models), beginning with Travel and Tourism (TR) as the first area of collaboration.
We look forward to strengthening international partnerships and expanding opportunities for student mobility. ✨

很榮幸接待 Dr. Pitchayadejanant 及 BUUIC 團隊 蒞臨參訪，雙方就未來合作方向進行了深入且富有成效的交流。
