🌍 Join a Groundbreaking International Research Collaboration!

We are proud to highlight the remarkable achievements of Ilya Rosenblium, a doctoral student working under Prof. Konstantin Borodianskiy in the Department of Chemical Engineering 🧪, and Dr. Petr Oskolkov, a postdoctoral researcher, jointly supervised by Prof. Sabina Lissitsa from the School of Communication and Dr. Eyal Levin from the Department of Middle Eastern and Political Science.

Ilya is currently undergoing scientific training at Prof. I-Ming Hung's laboratory at Yuan Ze University (YZU) in Taiwan 🇹🇼, while Dr. Oskolkov recently completed similar training at Prof. Chih-Ping Chen's laboratory.

Supported by Ariel University's Research and Development Authority and the Taiwan Program - TEEP, these training programs highlight a unique inter-institutional collaboration aimed at strengthening ties between Israel 🇮🇱 and Taiwan 🇹🇼, particularly between Ariel University and YZU.

🎓 Graduate students and postdoctoral researchers at Ariel University are encouraged to apply for the 2025 program through their supervisors.

元智大學 YZU Global Affairs Office

Public transportation in 🇹🇼 is super convenient, but sometimes confusing for people who haven't got used to it. So today, let's help newbies get familiar with some bus routes at YZU. 🚍

In general, bus 156, 155 go inside the school, while bus 208 only stops at the school gate. All the buses can carry you to Neili Train Station, but you need to check the direction carefully. And don't forget to TAP the easy card when you GET ON and OFF the bus.

Hence, in the last slide, we also suggest some apps that can help everyone check on the bus situation and its direction 😁 We hope you won't get lost in 🇹🇼 like us 🤣🤣

Life is good when food is good 🙌 Today, let's takes all students to all the restaurants inside the school ✌️✌️

At YZU, you can find diverse range of food, from Taiwan dishes to other countries specialties. The price range will be around 70-150kuai with large portion, which allows the students to have enough energy for a whole day. Especially, most restaurants will provide English menu for international students so ordering food is not a challenge for us anymore ✌️😚✌️

Besides, in case you need to study late, food is also available at convenience store and the family mart nearby dorm area. Let's have much fun in your food tour at YZU 🍱🍤🍜🍳🍗🥞🍚🥙🍔🍧🧋

When students first came to 🇹🇼, we believe many of you has been amazed at the convenience of delieveries here. Don't have to worry about bad weather, every order can be made online, from food, drink, clothes, etc. The only thing you need to do is waiting for shippers to bring your delicious meals or favorite clothes to door.

In today's post, will guide you how to set up 📍adresses for delivery📍 around our campus. We hope that these guides would help you with your future online buying in 🇹🇼💫

Today, we will bring to you information about life at dorm. Changing to new living environment is never easy, but just keep calm because we're here to assist you in your future accommodation ✌️

If you choose to live in dorm, you would sign a 1-year contract with the confirmation from GAO (you should bring the contract to Global Affairs Office at building 7 for a stamp).

The first payment will include $2,000 deposit + dorm fee*
👉 Bachelor students: $10,580/semester. During winter and summer vacation, dorm fee will be calculated on daily basis.
👉 Graduated students: $13,800/6 months
*Dorm fee may be changed in the future. If there is any update, the school will email to the students.

After the procedure, you will automatically assigned to any room with another 3 students. There are some rules in dorm:
👉 Cannot cook inside the room. We have designated places for you to cook with stove and microwaves.
👉 Don't make loud noise in public places and at night.
👉 Keep public places clean. And always sort garbage.

During your living process, if you encounter any difficulties, you can come to receptionist or Housing Service Office (Male 1 Dormitory - 1st floor) for detailed assistance.

Today, let's take a look at 🤸‍♂️sport facilities🤸🏼‍♀️. At YZU, as mentioned previously, we care about both physical and mental health of every students. Hence, besides providing outstanding educational programs, we also focus on developing your health with modern sport equipments and designated places for special kinds of sport.

At YZU, you can play every sport you like, from badminton, basketball, baseball to volleyball, soccer, pingpong, etc. 🏸🏀🏈🏐⚽️🏓

Especially, if you don't have enough sport equipments, we can lend you all the equipment for FREE, just need to deposit you student ID card and register at the ✨️FITNESS CENTER✨️ (between male dorm 1 and running field)

Lastly, the school also has an indoor pool and gym. The fee to enter these facilities is ~1200 per year and you can renew it easily at the FITNESS CENTER 👉registration desk👈 By the way, for freshmen, the school will automatically add this fee to your first-year school fee because all freshmen are required to finish swimming in PE class 😁 so first year students, don't forget to use these facilities while you come here~~ 🏋‍♂️🏊‍♀️
