We appreciate Sherley for visiting us at this super busy end of semester to share the beautiful history of her country. This day was set aside to commemorate Haiti's declaration of independence from French colonial rule on January 1, 1804. Haiti also made history by being the first black republic in the world and the first country in the Western Hemisphere to abolish slavery. On this day, people will enjoy Soup Joumou (Haitian Squash Soup) together, which is the token of “freedom” to Haitians. May such bravery, hope and joy to be with you all throughout this upcoming 2023. : )

Dear Students,

Since April 25, NCCU will be in charge of compiling a list and submit the information of confirmed cases and the number of close contacts to health authorities. Please check the latest announcements on OIC website for further details about determining the “Close Contact” for COVID-19” and the “3+4” quarantine rule.

The sale of rapid test kits will be rationed from April 27, be sure to present your National Health Insurance (NHI) card or Alien Resident Certificates (ARC) to buy one test kit each on designated days.
