What a heartwarming and insightful evening! Guided by our Toastmaster of the Evening (TME), Lidia Tseng, we explored the multifaceted roles of a mother—a chauffeur, a teacher, a chef, and a lifelong cheerleader. A mother’s heart is tireless; she cares not for her own exhaustion, but only that we blossom into our best selves.

The meeting kicked off with a delightful and immersive Variety Session by our President Steven Liu and a vibrant Table Topics Session led by Cindy Fan. Through their vivid performances, we recognized the "Mother’s Language." It may not always be a poetic "I love you," but rather the practical "Save your money," "Come home early," or "Eat your dinner." These everyday reminders are the most authentic expressions of love—practical, grounding, and selfless.

Eddie Lin (PM L2P1): Shared a transformative lesson from business travel. He illustrated how shifting from a simple "I know, I know" to a more meaningful exchange helps clients truly understand the value we bring to the table.

David Liao (IP L5P3): Took us on a journey through his Pathways history. In this AI-driven era, David demonstrated how to keep every speech fresh and innovative, ensuring the audience stays engaged without a hint of boredom.

Our evaluator Justin Yeh pulled off a "Double Header" success! He provided precise, actionable advice for both speakers, perfectly complemented by Bright Huang’s insightful Language Evaluation, reminding us to always look on the "Bright Side."

Our multi-talented President Steven Liu stepped up as the Variety Session Master and General Evaluator, embodying the seamless operation and harmonious spirit of our club. A special thanks to our champion, Paul, whose constructive suggestions for Pega Pega are instrumental in our journey toward excellence.

We left the room feeling inspired with a renewed appreciation for the "Moms" in our lives and Paul drive more advise to continue our growth. Mamma Mia! What a meeting!

⚡️What happens when you mix professional growth with the energy of a Pokémon? You get a night at Pega Pega Toastmasters! Our latest meeting was an absolute spark-fest, featuring a legendary "all-star" lineup of guests and our reliable core members.

🐭 The Secret Origins

Ever wondered where our name comes from? Our "Pega-father," David Liao, dropped a knowledge bomb: Pega Pega is a mashup of Pegatron and Pikachu! It’s no wonder the room was buzzing with 100,000 volts of energy all night.

✈️ Our TME, David, chose the timeless theme of "Traveling," stirring up everyone’s best—and most chaotic—memories.

TTM Steven challenged us with 30-second "Travel Emergencies." How do you handle a missed flight or a mid-air crisis?

Cindy stole the show with her real-life "I missed my flight" drama, keeping us all on the edge of our seats!

The Winner: Mayumi took home Best Table Topics Speech. With over 100 countries under her belt, she dropped a hilarious truth: she prefers solo travel. Why? Because every time she takes her husband, they end up in the ER! She joked that she owes this award to her husband’s medical mishaps.

🎤 Spotlight Speeches

Lidia (The Two-Sword Style): Inspired by Shohei Ohtani’s "Goal Grid," Lidia shared her journey of mastering both Skiing and Snowboarding. A true dream-chaser!

Brenda (AI vs. Humanity): Can AI predict the future? Brenda explored the impact of AI on our lives. Her takeaway? "AI won’t replace humans; it will replace humans who don’t know how to use AI."

💎 Masterclass Evaluations

William delivered a "Free Gift" to Lidia—10 detailed tips on mastering presentation software. Professional coaching at its best!

Fong (The National Husband): Fong turned his evaluation of the AI speech into a keynote of its own, diving deep into the digital realm with style.

🌟 The "Vivacious" Finale

Word of the Day: Shana introduced us to "Vivacious" (lively and high-spirited). She didn't just teach it; she embodied it during her Language Evaluation!

Special Guest Henny: A heavyweight in the community, Henny loved the vibe and gave a huge shout-out to David for his "MacGyver-level" tech support when her audio hit a snag.

GE Mayumi’s Wrap-up: She summarized the whole night as—you guessed it—Vivacious.

Everyone left Pega Pega last night feeling like a Pikachu: fully charged and ready to take on the world!

Don't miss the next one—you never know where our next "trip" will take us! ⚡️✈️

🌸 Pega Pega TMC #245 Meeting Highlights

TME Steven Liu: Guided us through the theme of "Decluttering" (斷捨離) for a mental spring cleaning. He inspired members to renew their habits and remove the "clutter" in their lives to make room for growth.

Speaker David Liao: Delivered an insightful session on "Reverse Fatty Liver Disease." He emphasized that the keys to health are cutting sugary drinks, committing to moderate-intensity aerobic exercise, and ensuring restorative sleep.

Art Sharing Rita Lien: Brought "Apparel 101" to life with a diverse showcase of outfits. She demonstrated how clothing serves as a powerful tool for self-expression and professional presence.

TTM Kenny Lee: Curated a series of engaging and humorous impromptu topics. His creative prompts encouraged everyone to speak confidently while keeping the atmosphere light and fun.

GE Lidia Tseng: Perfectly captured the "Less is More" (少即是多) vibe of the evening. She praised the high quality of interaction and the intimate, cozy atmosphere despite the small group size.

Evaluator Rex Tsai: Provided an abundance of precise and constructive feedback. His professional insights helped the speaker refine their delivery and polish their stage presence.

Language Evaluator Laura Kuo: Showcased incredible multitasking by sharing sophisticated vocabulary and elegant sentences while tenderly caring for her daughter. Her dedication added a layer of maternal warmth and grace to the session.

🌱 Closing Thoughts

Though we were fewer than eight in attendance, the collective energy made the meeting feel as refreshing and hopeful as the first breath of spring. It was more than just a speech rehearsal; it was a heartwarming gathering of friends.

See you at our next session on April 21st!

The evening was brilliantly led by our Toastmaster of the Evening (TME), Lidia Tseng. She opened the session with the thrilling story of Alex, who climbed Taipei 101 on January 25th, showing the world the indomitable spirit of Taiwan. This theme of "Extreme sports " is also she watched “Free solo” documentary throughout the meeting. VS queen Chia chun was sparking a spirited guessing game during this session.

We were privileged to hear from two powerhouse speakers, Steven Liu and Joanna Lee, as they prepare for their upcoming contest this Sunday. Their speeches truly challenged the audience to step out of their comfort zones:

Steven gave voice to the quiet, reminding us that "Silence is also a language."

Joanna delivered a powerful message on aging, urging us: "Do not let that one thing that only goes up and never comes down—your age—limit your life."

A big thank you to our guests from FHK, William and Jimmy, for their witty contributions to the Table Topics Session (TTM). When asked what they would say to Alex if they were birds flying past the top of Taipei 101, their imaginative answers brought laughter to the room.

Lastly, a special shout-out to David Liao. Despite the cold and late February night, his efforts were instrumental in inviting our heavyweight guest speakers to make this evening truly wonderful.

Wishing Steven and Joanna the very best of luck in the upcoming contest! May you both shine on stage and express your truest selves with passion and confidence.
