This time, we turned a real-life situation into a meaningful learning opportunity!
When the children heard the reminder, our little ones quickly followed their teachers and practiced: **Drop, Cover, and Hold On!** They crawled under the tables and protected their little heads. 💪

Through real-life practice, children don’t just know what to do—they learn how to protect themselves by actually doing it.
A little more practice today means a little less panic when it really matters. ❤️

《切開芭樂，我收到一朵花》

「芭樂裡面真的有花嗎？」
小朋友一聽到，眼睛馬上睜得大大的👀

我們一起切開芭樂，哇！裡面一顆一顆的籽，真的好像藏著一朵小花！再看看奇異果，小小的籽圍成一圈，又像不像有人在裡面放煙火呢？

原來童詩這麼好玩！不只是坐著聽，還可以用眼睛看、用小手摸，最後再把水果切開，看看詩裡說的是不是真的！

今天，我們不只讀了一首詩，還一起把「詩」找出來了！🥝🍈

Today, in our children’s poetry class, we read a poem called “Cut Open a Guava, and I Found a Flower.”

“Is there really a flower inside a guava?”
The children’s eyes opened wide with curiosity! 👀

So we cut open the guava and… wow! The little seeds inside really looked like a tiny flower. Then we looked at the kiwi—its little seeds formed a circle, like a mysterious little picture!

Poetry can be so much fun! We don’t just sit and listen—we look, touch, observe, and even cut open the fruit to see if the poem is telling the truth!

Today, we didn’t just read a poem—we went looking for the poem together! 🥝🍈

第一次來到幼兒園，對孩子來說，一切都是新的。
有些孩子很快融入，有些孩子需要多一點時間。

看著老師陪著孩子一步一步，從熟悉老師、熟悉環境，到找到自己的安全感。Beth不禁為這些小勇士們的勇氣所感動。從大哭到能開心玩耍，每個孩子都有自己的速度。沒關係，讓我們一起慢慢來。😊

這週，台灣孩子和來自不同國家的小朋友攜手合作，為週五的 二手市集 做準備。有人負責設計海報、有人畫插圖、有人練習介紹商品，也有人互相分享想法、幫助彼此完成作品。

透過合作，孩子們不只學會了溝通與分工，更在一次次交流中建立友誼，體驗分享與環保的意義。我們期待週五市集開張，一起感受孩子們滿滿的創意與成就感！

This week at , our campers have been busy working together to prepare for Friday's Second-Hand Market! 💛

Children from Taiwan and around the world are collaborating to create posters, make signs, organize their booths, and practice introducing their items. Along the way, they are sharing ideas, helping one another, and building friendships across cultures.

We believe the most meaningful learning happens through real experiences. By working together, children develop communication skills, teamwork, creativity, and an appreciation for different cultures. We can't wait to see them proudly share their hard work at Friday's market while learning the value of sustainability and sharing. 🌱✨

這週，我們和孩子一起聊聊颱風，也把觀察變成創作。

孩子們撕紙、揉紙、塗上不同的顏色，一起打造出一條「颱風過後的河流」。有高低起伏的石頭、被水沖刷的河道，還有隨著水流漂動的樹枝，每一個細節，都來自孩子們的觀察、想像與合作。

在光禾森林，我們相信，學習就藏在生活裡。透過藝術創作，孩子不只是完成一件作品，更是在探索自然、表達想法，也學會欣賞彼此不同的視角。

🌧️ What Does a River Look Like After a Typhoon?

This week, we talked with the children about typhoons and turned their observations into a creative art project.

Using torn paper, crumpled paper, and colorful paint, the children worked together to create a "river after the typhoon." From rocks shaped by rushing water to floating branches and winding river paths, every detail came from their own observations, imagination, and teamwork.

At Sunlight Forest, we believe that meaningful learning grows from everyday experiences. Through art, children explore nature, express their ideas, and discover that every perspective is unique and valuable.
