🤝🌟 [ 2026 夏令營 ] The Amazing Race 驚奇大競賽🌟🤝

This week, our Grade 1 students discovered the power of communication and teamwork! Through teamwork challenges, students practiced listening carefully, sharing ideas, making decisions, and cooperating toward a common goal. Sometimes they even had to figure out how to communicate without speaking at all!

🥚 We finished with The Great Egg Drop, where teams had to design and build a container capable of protecting an egg from a two-meter drop! Students discussed their ideas, solved problems together, built their designs, and then put their teamwork to the ultimate test. Whether their egg survived or went SPLAT!, every team learned that great ideas become even better when we listen, communicate, and work together! 🥚🪂💥

👨‍🚒👮‍♀️👩‍🍳👷 [ 2026 夏令營 ] Andy’s Awesome Helpers! 🌟

This week, our students discovered some of the amazing people who help our communities every day! As members of The Blaze Brigade, Safety Squad, Kitchen Commanders, and Build-It Crew, students became firefighters, police officers, chefs, and construction workers. Through dress-up, role-play, mysteries, cooking challenges, and building activities, they learned useful vocabulary and practiced giving directions, asking questions, explaining ideas, and working together in English.

From rescuing people and solving mysteries to creating silly recipes and building structures, students were using English to experience them! Every mission encouraged our young learners to listen carefully, communicate with their teammates, solve problems, and become more confident speaking English. Another fantastic week of learning by doing! 🚒🚓🍳🏗️

🩺🧑‍⚕️ [ 2026 夏令營 ] Dr. Andy 恩迪實習醫生的一日 🔬🫀

Our Grade 1 students became Dr. Andy's doctors-in-training this week! They explored the human body by creating life-size anatomy posters, discovered the tools inside a doctor's bag, investigated how bacteria and viruses spread, and used their five senses to complete fun challenges. To finish the week, our young doctors put everything together as they practiced identifying symptoms and making their own diagnoses! 🩺

Through experiments, games, scavenger hunts, and doctor-patient role-play, students connected new English vocabulary to things they could see, touch, hear, and do. Most importantly, every activity gave our new English learners opportunities to listen to instructions, communicate with classmates, and build the confidence to use English in meaningful situations. Great work, doctors! 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️⭐

📚🎲 [ 2026 夏令營 ] Cambridge Preparation 🎲📚

Our students have been working hard in their Cambridge English YLE and KET preparation classes! Along with practicing Cambridge-style Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking tasks, we made sure test preparation wasn't all about sitting at a desk and studying. Students enjoyed some well-earned downtime with games including BrainBox ABC, Speedy Words, Scrabble Junior, Toodles-Boobles, BrainBox: The World, Taboo Junior, Scattergories, and Scrabble. The games gave students a fun way to review vocabulary, describe ideas, think quickly, communicate with classmates, and actually use the English they had been learning. 🎯

Balancing focused study with games gave students a chance to relax, laugh, and enjoy English together before getting back to work. Most importantly, it reminded them that preparing for an exam isn't only about achieving a great score. The vocabulary and skills they learn are meant to help them communicate in the real world. We're proud of all the effort our students put into their Cambridge preparation this summer! 💪🌟

🦖🌋 [ 2026 夏令營 ] Jurassic Park 侏儸紀公園大冒險 🦕🔎

This week, our students traveled millions of years into the past for a Jurassic Park adventure! They became fossil detectives, explored how dinosaurs lived, read Danny and the Dinosaur, compared dinosaurs in our Trump Top tournament, discovered how fossils form, and even painted their own dinosaurs. Along the way, students practiced using English to describe, compare, predict, explain their thinking, and share ideas with their classmates.

We ended our prehistoric adventure by investigating dinosaur extinction and becoming Dinosaur Designers! Students combined different body parts to invent their own species, deciding what it would eat, where it would live, how it would move, and how its special features would help it survive. From fossils to brand-new species, it was a week filled with science, creativity, communication, and lots of English! 🦖🎨🌟
