🎓 TAAS Second Quarter Dean’s List & Honor Roll Recognition 🎓

TAAS recently held its Second Quarter Dean’s List and Honor Roll Recognition, where we celebrated students who have shown excellence in their academic journey. Through dedication, perseverance, and God-given talents, these students were awarded certificates in recognition of their hard work.

We give thanks to God for guiding our students and for the support of our teachers and parents who continue to nurture both academic growth and strong Christian values. As Scripture reminds us, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord” (Colossians 3:23).

🎄✨ TAAS Christmas Concert Celebration ✨🎄

What a joyful and heartwarming evening at TAAS! Our recent Christmas Concert, themed “Shepherds, Sheep, and a Savior,” brought together students, teachers, and parents to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas—the birth of Jesus Christ and His mission on earth.

Our lower-grade students delighted the audience as they acted out the Christmas story, dressed as sheep, shepherds, wise men, Mary and Joseph, and travelers. Their smiles and confidence filled the stage with joy! 🐑🌟
Meanwhile, our upper-grade students beautifully showcased their musical talents by performing instrumental Christmas pieces, each student proudly playing their own instrument. 🎶🎻🎹

This special event was a wonderful reminder of the joy of fellowship and the blessing of coming together as a school community. Most importantly, it reflected our mission as an Adventist school to share God’s love and spread the message of hope and salvation.

🚶‍♂️TAAS 2025 Walk-A-thon: A Fun Day for a Great Cause!🎉

TAAS recently held its annual 2025 Walkathon, a much-anticipated event aimed at supporting foundations in need. This year, the beneficiary of the funds raised was the Taipei Adventist Foundation.

The event was full of energy and excitement, with students and parents joining in the fun. Primacy Collegiate also came to lend a hand, helping with stretching exercises and offering face painting for the students, adding even more enjoyment to the day.

The school community showed incredible spirit, raising a total of 330,000 NTD! Special awards and trophies were given out to recognize outstanding contributions and teamwork:

🚌 TAAS Upper Grades Field Trip Highlights 🇹🇼

Our Upper Grade students (Grades 6–8) recently enjoyed an exciting educational field trip!

Grades 6 and 8 had the opportunity to visit the Office of the President of Taiwan, where they explored the historic building and learned more about the nation’s leadership and government structure.

Grade 7 visited the Legislative Yuan, gaining firsthand insight into how laws are made and how Taiwan’s legislative process works.

It was a meaningful learning experience that helped students connect their social studies lessons with real-world places and concepts. We are proud of our students for their curiosity, engagement, and excellent behavior throughout the trip!

🌟 Week of Prayer at TAAS 🌟

TAAS recently held its Week of Prayer, with Pastor Ben Ng as our guest speaker. Throughout the week, students gathered for chapel and filled the campus with beautiful singing and worship. 🎶

Pastor Ben shared inspiring messages on topics such as being thankful, the wonders of God’s creation, and what it means to be a child of God. His heartfelt teachings encouraged students to let God guide their lives and to grow with faith and gratitude each day. 🙏💛

We’re thankful for this meaningful week and the spiritual lessons that will continue to shape our students’ hearts and minds. 🌿

✨ TAAS Students in Action — Project Impact October 2025 ✨

Students from TAAS recently took part in Project Impact, a service initiative where they learn the value of helping others through meaningful acts of service. 💖

Each grade participated in different community outreach activities across Taipei:
🚒 Grade 1 – Shared kindness through cookie gifts at Jiantan Fire Station
🎶 Grades 2 & 5 – Visited Zhishan Nursing Home, where they sang, played, and spent time with the elderly
🎁 Grades 3 & 4 – Delivered care boxes to Taipei City Hospital (Yangming Branch)
🌊 Grades 6 & 8 – Helped clean up the beach at Jhong Jiao Bay
📦 Grade 7 – Supported the Genesis Social Welfare Foundation by sorting advertising materials

Through Project Impact, our students not only made a difference in the community but also learned that even small acts of kindness can create a big impact. 💪💫

🌏 TAAS 8th Graders Mission Trip Adventure 🌏

The TAAS 8th graders recently embarked on a meaningful 10-day mission trip to Guanshan, where they learned the true value of service, compassion, and community.

Throughout the trip, students engaged in various acts of service — from painting and cleaning the local church to distributing goods to the elderly. They also spent quality time with the residents, singing “Jesus Loves Me,” dancing during morning exercises, and playing fun games like “Teacher Says (Xiaoming Shuo),” “Charades with a Twist,” and “Pictionary.”

Beyond service, the students also had time to explore and enjoy the beauty of Taiwan! Their adventures included:
🚴‍♂️ Biking around Guanshan
🎨 Painting the church’s backyard walls
🎶 Performing a skit (“Joseph the Dreamer”) during Sabbath School
🌿 Touring Taitung County – visiting Luye Highlands (Grass Skiing), the National Museum of Prehistory, and the Taitung Beach
🐠 Traveling to Kenting, Pingtung County, where they visited the National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium, enjoyed water sports, go-karting, and visited the adorable Paradise of Capybara
🎯 Evening fun at the night market and arcade, where they tried out some darts games

It was an unforgettable journey filled with learning, laughter, friendship, and faith — a wonderful reminder that serving others can be both meaningful and joyful. 💛

📚✨ Reading Week Highlights at TAAS! ✨📚

This past week, our school celebrated Reading Week — a fun-filled week dedicated to the joy of books and imagination!

📖 Day 1: Door Decoration
Each class transformed their classroom door into a creative display inspired by their chosen book. From colorful artwork to 3D designs, our halls turned into a storybook world!

👤 Day 2: Mystery Reader
Students were delighted by surprise guest readers who visited classrooms to share their favorite stories aloud — sparking curiosity and excitement for reading.

⏰ Day 3: Drop Everything and Read (DEAR)
At 8:45, the bell rang — and the whole school stopped to read for 30 minutes! It was wonderful to see everyone, from students to teachers, fully immersed in their books.

🎭 Day 4: Dress Up Day
To wrap up the week, students came dressed as their favorite book characters! From superheroes to classic storybook figures, our school was filled with creativity and fun.

Grade 6 & 7 Outdoor School Adventure at TAIS! 🌿🏕️

Our Grade 6 and 7 students recently spent an exciting week at TAIS in Nantou for Outdoor School! Throughout the week, students took part in a variety of fun and challenging activities, including pool games, orienteering with map and compass skills, group games, building their own boats for water navigation, a lakeside scavenger hunt, basketball, badminton, capture the flag, tree climbing, and a low ropes course.

Each evening, they also took time to reflect on their experiences through their daily reflection journals.

We were delighted to have some students from TAIS join in the adventure, making it an even more memorable week of learning, teamwork, and outdoor fun! 🌞🌳💦
