Dear resident,
As the confirmed cases of N-COVID-19 has increases and over 100 cases, many of them were imported diseases. We really can’t 100% sure for everyone’s social life and who are they have been contacting with, therefore it is a good idea to wear the mask all the time once stepped out from your room.
This is not only to protect yourself also for the concern of everyone’s healthy, too. Wash hands more often, try not to sharing food, keep a distance when speaking with others.

Due to the increasing number of international students, the counseling services of the Department of International Affairs was established in May of 2018. The department found that in order to have a good research environment, we need to help students to work through their adjustment problems and accompany them to solve the mental health difficulty during the process of pursuing a Ph.D. degree. Hence, the counseling psychologist has invented kinds of services to promote the students’ mental health, these services include individual counseling, group counseling, couple therapy, speech, and workshop.
This counseling service is specially set up for the Taiwan International Graduate Program(TIGP) and Degree Program(DP) students. It is very important to note that, this service is accessible and free to currently enroll Academia Sinica TIGP and DP's students. The counseling is provided from Monday to Friday, 8.30am-4.30pm, with prior appointment. If there is any emergency case, please make a call or walk-in directly to the office.
The counseling will be provided at the Teaching and Administration Building (TA Building) which is number 60 on the Academia Sinica Map Guide.

General advice for the COVID
(1). Please DO wash your hands thoroughly and frequently using soap or alcohol-based hand wash.
(2). If you have a fever (forehead temperature >37.5°C) and diarrhea or respiratory symptoms. Please report to the dorm manager immediately.
(3). Wear the mask only when needed, such as in a bus or MRT or in a crowded room or having a fever.
(4). All personnel enters the dormitory must be monitored for body temperature.
(5). Disinfect public areas such as the kitchen, inside the elevator, desk in the public areas.

[Important Notice]
The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) of Taiwan announced the following instruction:
Starting from February 25, foreign nationals entering Taiwan from South Korea must undergo a 14-day period of home quarantine.
Starting from February 10, 2020, travelers who transit through China, Hong Kong and Macau and are granted entry into Taiwan and will be required to be under home quarantine for 14 days.
All international students, please Do NOT ARRIVE/TRANSFER into Taiwan through CHINA/ HONG KONG/ MACAU/ KOREA.
