受到大型偶戲啟發，第七週我們一起挑戰製作一隻需要多人合作操作的巨大長頸鹿木偶！我們先觀察了過年常見的舞龍舞虎、日本的獅子舞，以及 Big Bird 等熟悉的偶戲角色，再一起組裝、上色和裝飾長頸鹿。
完成後，我們用它拍攝真人實拍和定格動畫，最後一起回看影片，並用各種物件為畫面製作 Foley 擬音。因為我們不會在社群媒體上分享孩子的臉、名字或聲音，所以大家聽不到最後的音效，但真的非常精彩！🦒🎬
Inspired by large-scale puppetry, we spent part of Week 7 creating a giant giraffe puppet that needed several people to operate! We began by looking at Chinese New Year dragons and tigers, Japanese shishimai, and familiar puppet characters such as Big Bird, before assembling, painting and decorating our giraffe.
Once it was finished, we used it to film both live-action and stop-motion sequences, then watched the footage back and experimented with different objects to create Foley sound effects. We never share faces, names or voices on social media, so you cannot hear the final soundtrack, but trust us, it was wonderful!
