My dear Michelle,

If you had been with us yesterday, I know you would have asked us, "What were the three highlights of the gathering?"

Here are my answers.

1. Because of your sincerity and the way you always lived authentically, two groups of people who barely knew each other felt safe enough to open their hearts. They shared their stories honestly and without hesitation.

2. No matter where people had met you—in school, at work, or elsewhere—they all described you in remarkably similar ways. They remembered your energy, your wonderful sense of humor, your integrity, and the way you stayed true to yourself. You lived authentically, and people could see that.

3. You once said you were "half Taiwanese." Taiwan became your second home, and you touched the lives of so many people here. Your insightful words, honest encouragement, and unwavering support have left a lasting impact on this land and on the people who knew you.

I will always carry our conversations and the moments we shared in my heart. I hope to support the people around me the way you supported me. Even if I can only do one-tenth of what you did, I will give it my very best.

親愛的白老師，

如果你在的話，就會問我們昨天的活動的三個亮點是什麼。

我會說
1. 因為你真摯、表裏一致的性格，讓不熟悉的兩群人，在彼此面前如此開放，真情流露。

3. 你在台灣求學、工作，你說你是半個台灣人。你影響了這塊土地上

Dear Michelle~
We gathered todayto remember you,
to celebrate you.

We brought the snacks you liked:
Peanuts, butter salty popcorn, guava jam, passion fruit candy, and bubbles.
