As Somaliland students in Taiwan, we would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to our beloved people, who have patiently awaited this remarkable moment of recognition for more than three decades.
We also warmly welcome the historic decision of the State of Israel, which has become the first country to recognize the independence of Somaliland, just as it did when we first gained independence from Britain.
We remain hopeful that many more countries will soon follow and officially recognize Somaliland.
Question is : Who’s next to recognize Somaliland?

This orientation welcomes new Somaliland students to Taiwan, offering guidance on boarding and transit tips, arrival checklists, transportation, university life, scholarships, accommodation, food, shopping, cultural tips, and essential apps. It also introduces SSAT support and membership, services from the Somaliland Representative Office, and concludes with a Q&A session to help students settle in and succeed.
