很催淚的一則故事。
看看在每個孩子的背後，有甚麼不為人知的秘密...
五年前，一位美國科羅拉多的老師 Kyle Schwartz 在她的國小三年級的班級進行了這項實驗。
她發下了紙條，上面印著：「我希望老師知道______。」
(I wish my teacher knew ______.)
結果孩子們的回答出人意料，有的甚至難過得讓人落淚。

1. 我希望老師知道，我爸爸做兩份工作，我不常見到他。
"I wish my teacher knew that my dad works two jobs and I don't see him much."
2. 我希望老師知道，我媽媽離過三次婚。
"I wish my teacher knew that my mom got divorce 3 times."
3. 我希望老師知道，我跟我媽媽住在組合屋。

※ 註：shelter 指的應該是美國的 "Homeless shelter"，亦即專門提供無家可歸的遊民、受災戶等居住的臨時組合屋。
4. 我希望老師知道，我弟弟容易受到驚嚇，所以我每天都擔心自己半夜會醒過來。
"I wish my teacher knew that my little brother gets scared and I get worried about getting up every night."
5. 我希望老師知道，我爸爸今年過世，我感覺到前所未有的孤單，在同儕之間也感到抽離許多。
