The 2026 Hudson Valley Regional has come to a close!

This was our first time competing on the East Coast, and we not only gained valuable experience but also met many amazing teams and made new friends. We are honored to have received the Imagery Award in honor of Jack Kamen.

We sincerely thank all the teams who supported us along the way and everyone we had the chance to compete with. Through the competition, we experienced true teamwork and innovation, and built meaningful friendships between teams.

Finally, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all our sponsors. Your support drives us forward and motivates us to keep striving toward our next goal!

We visited Hutian Experimental Elementary School for an outreach event, guiding students to explore LEGO EV3 robotics from hands on assembly to programming while completing a line following challenge. Through this experience, students developed logical thinking and problem solving skills, embodying the spirit of FIRST and STEAM education.
Through this exchange, we look forward to continuing our outreach efforts and inspiring more children to discover the joy of engineering and science through hands on learning.

New season is coming!
We looked back with warm hearts, dreamed big together, and looked forward to our competition in March.
We presented freshmen with badges to encourage them to keep learning new skills.
You’ve grown so beautifully over the past six months, and we’re incredibly proud of you.

Together, we’ll make this the coziest and happiest season.
Let’s do this gently and brightly!

Team #7589 is proud to look back on a year of hard work and impact. We dedicated our season to sparking a love for STEAM and EV3 robotics in rural elementary schools. While the journey had its challenges, the support from Rotary International District 3482 and our amazing partners made it all possible. We’re excited to keep serving our community and growing together!

Thank you to Rotary International District 3482 for inviting us to join the carnival. Our team showcased our robot, EV3 projects, and science experiments to promote STEAM education. We also brought our school anniversary robot, allowing visitors to experience the excitement of FIRST and learn more about robotics. Through hands-on demonstrations and interactive displays, we shared the fun of innovation and inspired young minds to explore the world of science and technology.

FRC 7589 brought another spark of innovation to the opening ceremony of Lishan High School’s 26th Anniversary Celebration!
To mark this special occasion, our team built a machine that kicked off the ceremony and symbolized the start of a new chapter for Lishan.
In addition, we designed and crafted our own team souvenirs, showcasing the creativity and dedication of our first-year members.
Also, thanks to Rotary District 3482 for visiting our school anniversary and supporting our team. We sincerely appreciate your encouragement and recognition.
We are proud to celebrate this meaningful day with both technology and heart.

We were honored to host Ellen Weaver, Superintendent of Education for South Carolina, USA, and Rebecca Gunnlaugsson, Chief of Staff.
We introduced our team’s vision and journey, showcased this year’s competition robot, and even invited them to operate it themselves to experience our innovation and passion.
Thank you for taking the time to visit us. We hope this exchange allows more people to see our hard work and achievements!

This weekend, we joined hands with Rotary District 3482 for a blood donation drive. It reminded us how fulfilling it feels when we can give a little and make a difference.

Grateful for the opportunity—and excited for more chances to create change together.
