【Taiwanese Culture Event Recap－臺灣文化之夜活動回顧】

For this Taiwanese Culture Night, we started with a market-themed challenge, where participants collected ingredients through interactive games while getting a glimpse into everyday life in Taiwan.

Next, we shared a lantern creating experience. From learning about the cultural meaning behind lanterns to creating our own unique designs, everyone got to better appreciate the beauty and symbolism embedded in traditional Taiwanese culture 🏮

In the end, everyone used the ingredients they gathered to create a bowl of tofu pudding, bringing the event to a warm and memorable close, and allowing us to literally taste Taiwanese culture 😋

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and made this night so meaningful. We hope you all felt the warmth and vibrancy of Taiwanese culture throughout the experience!

這次的臺灣文化之夜，我們透過模擬市場的闖關遊戲，一邊蒐集食材，一邊認識臺灣的日常生活。

接著，我們帶大家體驗了燈籠剪紙。從認識燈籠的文化意義，到親手完成屬於自己的燈籠作品，讓大家更深入感受到臺灣傳統文化中蘊含的美感與意象🏮

最後，大家將蒐集到的食材化為一碗豆花，為整個活動畫下溫暖的句點，也一起用味覺品嚐臺灣文化😋

【Qingming Festival Night Recap — 清明之夜活動回顧】
清明之夜這天，雖然微涼的春意籠罩著台北，但二活的現場卻是熱情洋溢！許多外籍同學齊聚一堂，跟著我們一起探索傳統文化的魅力。
活動由 Cynthia 的精彩開場揭開序幕，深入淺出地介紹了清明節的由來。接著，Hermione 帶領大家進入超刺激的 Kahoot 挑戰，現場氣氛瞬間沸騰！隨後的社交小遊戲更讓原本陌生的朋友們打破隔閡，歡笑聲不斷。
最特別的莫過於 Aaron 主持的「擲筊」體驗，大家屏息以待紅筊落地的瞬間，爭相感受這份傳承百年的宗教文化與趣味。
最後，到了大家最期待的點心時間！我們準備了傳統的冰淇淋潤餅，Q彈的皮包覆著香甜冰淇淋，多層次的口感讓外籍生們大為驚艷，在自由交流的 40 分鐘內，美食與笑聲成為了當晚最完美的收尾。
謝謝當天到場的每一位朋友，看著大家滿載而歸的笑容，就是我們最大的動力。歡迎持續關注並報名 ISIE 之後的活動，我們下次見！

On the night of Qingming, despite the cool spring breeze in Taipei, the atmosphere at the student activity center was bursting with energy! International students gathered to explore the unique charms of traditional culture with us.
The night kicked off with an insightful introduction by Cynthia, followed by Hermione’s high-energy Kahoot challenge that got everyone’s adrenaline pumping! The ice-breaking games that followed helped new friends connect and filled the room with laughter.
A major highlight was the “Jiaobei” (moon blocks) experience hosted by Aaron. Everyone held their breath watching the red blocks fall, eager to experience this centuries-old traditional custom firsthand.
Finally, we wrapped up the night with a much-anticipated treat: Ice Cream Spring Rolls! The combination of chewy wrappers and sweet ice cream amazed our international guests. During the 40-minute free talk session, the blend of delicious food and great conversation provided the perfect ending to the evening.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us. Seeing your smiles makes all the effort worthwhile. Stay tuned for more ISIE events—we can’t wait to see you again!

【MAHJONG NIGHT Event Recap－麻將之夜活動回顧】

In the waves of excited shouts “Hu!” and lingering “Another Liu Ju(no winner)?!”, our Mahjong Night event came to a successful close.

At the start, CoSPACE was filled with international students’ curious yet puzzled faces. However, by the end, participants could all confidently call Chi, Pong, and Gang. While many were still a little unsure about the exact winning combination, —some even built a Japanese-style winning hand!— one thing was clear: the focused eyes and radiant smiles of everyone painted a truly beautiful memory for the night.

We’re so grateful to have shared this night with friends from all around the world. Thank you for joining us, and we can’t wait to see you again at our upcoming ISIE events!
