🌏 Empowered Youth, Connected Future! 🌏

🎉 The Asia-Pacific Youth Forum has officially wrapped up! 🎊

The Youth Forum Recommendations was done, with delegates from 27 countries came together drafting 14 key resolutions, focusing on three main directions:
👉 Youth leadership and intergenerational exchange
👉 Putting social sustainability into action
👉 Digital connectivity and collaborative advocacy

We hope these will create more diverse, inclusive, and supportive opportunities for Scouts across the Asia-Pacific! 💡

✨The long-awaited new Asia-Pacific Regional Youth Representative (RYR) was also announced!

Delegates cast their votes for 8 candidates using E-Voting. As the results were announced, applause, cheers, and hugs filled the room, creating a brilliant ending to the forum. ✨

At the closing ceremony, World Scout Committee Vice-Chairperson Mori Cheng encouraged everyone that even though the forum is over, your journey has just begun.
Take the ideas, stories, and energy from these four days back to your NSO and Scout groups, and keep making a positive impact.
Remember, don’t limit yourself, be brave and take action, because the future is in your hands! 💪

New Asia-Pacific Regional Youth Representative Chairperson, David Lai also shared the significance of this event.📣
Back in 1989, the 16th Asia-Pacific Scout Conference was held here at ChienTan Overseas Youth Activity Center, and 36 years later, we’re back, meeting Scouts from all over APR, sharing stories of youth leadership, social impact and advocacy, and Scouting partnerships, continuing to carry the APR torch forward on our journey.🔥

A huge thanks to the past and new RYRs, Youth Engagement Sub-committee, Asia-Pacific Support Centre, and the Team Taiwan for making this forum unforgettable, leaving everyone with wonderful memories and the courage and energy to keep moving forward.☺️

See you soon in Scouting.⚜️

Together We Climb, Together We Shine!✨

“If it weren’t for my group’s encouragement, I really wouldn’t have made it to the top…”
A casual remark became the most touching moment of the day. ❤️

💡 Session 3|Scouting Partnerships🤝
Youth participants from different countries shared how, through collaboration and trust, they keep the spirit of Scouting alive, benefiting communities, organizations, and nations.
Some suggested initiating partnerships with governments and NGOs, while others emphasized the importance of support among Scout partners.
The message was clear: when Scouts gather with conviction, their combined strength can achieve great things.⚡

🚩Educational Tour|Taipei 101 & Elephant Mountain🐘⛰
We climbed Taipei 101, enjoying breathtaking views from the 89th floor.
Hiked the Elephant Mountain trail, pushing toward the peak to get the scarf symbolizing the spirit and honor of the activity.
Strolled through The Red House, exploring local Taiwanese cuisine, wrapping up the day with warmth and joy.😊

On the final stretch of the trail, a Scout almost gave up. But the group patiently waited and encouraged each other. Finally, everyone reached the peak.
When the last member got the scarf, all the effort turned into smiles and hugs.

This is the beginning of international friendship and the truest expression of Scouting spirit:Together with your partners, there’s no challenge you can’t face. ⚜

🎉 Full of energy, Full of friendship! 🔥

The 11th Asia-Pacific Scout Youth Forum (APSYF) has officially begun!

The opening ceremony kicked off with laughter and applause, as more than 120 young Scouts from 27 countries gathered at the Jiantan Youth Activity Center in Taipei, Taiwan. With boundless energy and enthusiasm, participants lit up this long-awaited event together.✨

Centered on the theme “Scouting: Integrated Versatility,” this forum encourages young people from across the Asia-Pacific region to explore the diverse values of Scouting and spark new ideas for its future development.

At the opening ceremony, we were honored to invite Ms. Chiayo Kuo, Founder of the Taiwan Digital Diplomacy Association, to share her valuable experiences in promoting international exchange and digital engagement. The association has long been devoted to public diplomacy and youth participation, actively enhancing Taiwan’s global visibility. Drawing from her own journey, Ms. Kuo encouraged all Scouts with an inspiring message — “Believe in the value of what you do, and courage will follow.”

As night fell, the Welcome Dinner was filled with energy and joy🔥
From diverse performances to cultural exchanges, young people from around the world connected through music and activities, showing the true spirit of Scouting to kick off the forum.💃🥁

Starting tomorrow, more discussions will officially begin — stay tuned for more inspiring ideas and exciting sparks to come! ✨
