Meet DSG social media director : tammy hsu (she/her)


1. If you could describe yourself in 3 words, what will it be?
Never, not, hungry

2. When did you start MUN?
I started my MUN journey as a 6th grade press team member at TASMUN. I had no idea what was going on back then but look where it got me

3. Favorite MUN memory?
STMUN 2021! I think it was the conference that opened my eyes to the life beyond my school community. So many lifelong memories, friends and unnecessary weight was gained.

4. What do you do other than MUN?
I am an angry feminist, I play volleyball and I love exploring new places with my friends and camera.

5. Advice for underclassmen?
Sign up for conferences. Speak up. Meet new people. You will fall in love with MUN and the adrenaline, trust me on this one.

Meet DSG Assistant delegate: Ken Marvel…. (he/him)

1. When did you start your MUN journey?
I started participating in MUN practices since eighth grade but I only joined my first conference in ninth grade.
2. Was there a particular conference that made you fall in love with MUN?
HSINMUN 2019, my first conference. That’s the conference made me realized how fun MUN is and that it would be a big part in the rest of my high school years.
3. What is your next conference and your assigned committee?
my next conference will be PASMUN, where I will be serving as the head chair of SDG.
4. Favorite MUN memory?
celebrating both and my birthday during TASMUN 2021 and singing 告白氣球 with the chair
5. Advise for underclassmen?
MUN is as fun as you want it to be. It is completely up to you and your fellow delegates if the conference would be a fun or boring one. Also, please have confidence in yourselves, doesn’t matter if it is your speaking or your writing. The only way to be bad at MUN is by not participating, not by bad speeches or resolutions.

i started mun in seventh grade and became head delegate in eight grade
2. What is your next conference and your assigned committee?
my next conference is pasmun and i’ll be in ga1!
3. Favorite MUN memory?
going out in the afternoons at stmun after debate is over for the day!

Summer greetings from DISMUN!

This summer, Taiwan has been controlled under lockdown due to wave of rising covid cases. But to keep our delegates busy and trained for the MUN season, we have been attending weekly trainings hosted by bestdelegate !! Here are some photos from our latest sessions.
