Early in my coaching career, I believed deeper deficits meant better results. If a client wasn't losing fast enough, I'd cut calories further, eat less and control their diets. If they couldn't sustain it, I'd push them to do more exercise with more intensity and variety.
I watched the same pattern repeat. Rapid initial loss. Collapse at week six. Shame. Starting over.
The pattern wasn't their fault. It was the plan's fault. And the plan was built on a misunderstanding of what fat loss actually asks of the human body.

“Mental health problems don’t define who you are. They are something you experience. You walk in the rain and you feel the rain, but, importantly, YOU ARE NOT THE RAIN.” — Matt Haig

Meditation is often misunderstood as the pursuit of silence. Many struggle to quiet their minds or sit still for prolonged periods, especially in fast-paced contemporary environments. The real journey, however, lies not in attaining silence but in the art of sitting itself.

Life isn't about good or bad.
It's about whether you can settle into the present and accept yourself. Your confidence and capability come from the stillness within you. If you truly listen to your inner voice — you already know the answer.
But so often, we refuse to accept it.
We refuse to learn how to see it.
And so we keep asking ourselves: why can't I find the happiness I'm looking for?
I used to believe my happiness came from a certain person. A certain company. A certain achievement. A certain number in my bank account.
It wasn't until all of those were gone that I discovered something real —
True confidence and success come from one question:
Can you feel whole, even when no one is watching?
Wholeness and abundance are not so different.
When you feel abundant and complete within yourself, what follows is this: life begins to organize itself around you, drawing toward you the people and possibilities you've been hoping for.
Start paying attention to your inner world every day — the good thoughts, the difficult ones, even the ones that seem absurd. Listen carefully. Ask yourself: does the world you've built around you reflect what's happening inside you?
If it doesn't — it means the life you want doesn't yet match your current environment and actions.
Change begins with action.
A greeting. A moment of care. An act of giving.
These are all forms of action.
Don't hide.
Start becoming the change you want to see.
Every week in the Awakened Context, I share content on mind-body training, personal growth, and manifesting the life you want. I'm building a community of 1,000 subscribers.
