As another remarkable school year comes to a close, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire TAS community.
The generosity, involvement, and spirit of our parents, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends continue to strengthen our school in countless ways. Through your support of the Tiger Annual Fund, students benefit from meaningful opportunities, enriching experiences, and the resources that help make TAS such a special place to learn and grow.
We invite you to take a moment to watch this short video celebrating the impact of your support and the difference our community makes together.
Thank you for being part of the TAS story!šš
Taipei American School
Taipei American School's mission is to cultivate an enduring commitment to learning, well-being, and service.
We provide an American-based education with a global perspective that develops students of character, committed to making the world better.
Over the past several months, our Grade 4 students worked through every part of the process, from organizing donations and creating products to managing booths, making decisions as teams, and thinking deeply about how they wanted to use the funds they raised.
But the learning did not stop when the market ended. Students continued the project by researching community needs, shopping for care package supplies, and partnering with SALT Collectiv to support individuals in Taipei experiencing homelessness. Along the way, students reflected on empathy, dignity, responsibility, and what it means to care for a community beyond ourselves.
Many students shared that this experience changed how they think about helping others. Some reflected on realizing how small actions can make a meaningful difference, while others spoke about the importance of treating every person with kindness and respect.
This student-created video highlights one of the initiatives made possible through the Flea Market and captures the heart behind the project: learning through action, connection, and service. We are proud of our Grade 4 Tigers for showing that meaningful learning can extend far beyond the classroom.

It's one thing to learn about supply and demand. It's another to experience it firsthand.
Our Grade 4 students recently turned their Social Studies learning into action at the Goods and Services Fair, welcoming Grade 3 students and some teachers as customers, clients, and curious shoppers.
Behind every booth was a team of students who had spent weeks developing ideas, creating products and services, managing budgets, designing advertisements, and learning what it takes to run a business.
What started as a Social Studies unit became an opportunity to collaborate, solve problems, think creatively, and put classroom learning into action.
Watching students confidently explain their ideas, welcome customers, and celebrate their hard work was a reminder that some of the most meaningful learning happens when students get the chance to experience it for themselves!
It's hard to put a day like this into just a few minutes.
We hope this video captures some of the moments that made graduation day so special for the Class of 2026 and their families. A day filled with pride, celebration, gratitude, and the beginning of a new chapter! āØššÆ

Wow...where did the time go?! šÆ
Our Kindergarten team celebrated this special milestone in the cutest and most heartwarming way. Our young Tigers shared poems reflecting on their Kindergarten memories, performed songs with their families in the audience, and even joined together with the Kindergarten and Performing Arts teams for a beautiful group performance.
From learning to read and write, to building friendships, courage, curiosity, and kindness, we were so glad to celebrate this meaningful chapter before our young Tigers take their next big step into Grade 1.
Weāre so excited to see where their journeys take them next!

This week, we were so proud to celebrate our Grade 5 students through their Promotion Ceremonies and Performing Arts Recognition Concert, and it was a beautiful reminder of how much these Tigers have grown.
Ā
This year, TAS began creating more intentional milestone celebrations for students at important stages of their journey, including Grade 5. These moments are meant to help students, families, and teachers celebrate all the growth, friendships, memories, and experiences that shaped this chapter together.
Ā
We loved seeing this new tradition come to life through student performances, reflections, laughter, proud families, and moments that reminded us our cubs are becoming Tigers! Middle School is waiting, and we know they are ready.
