Due to the ongoing pandemic there has been a lot of changes for the class of 2021 during their college application process. MESI wants to support students during this uncertain time so stay tuned every Wednesday and Saturday for more information regarding college application information. Please tune in to our first post below about the impact of COVID-19 on college campuses!

Having colleges open in the fall could be disastrous for the school AND local community. However, having another remote semester can prove to be a huge financial burden on the colleges due to no income from the housing and other fees. A lot of students have also deferred enrollment due to the tuition remaining the same, causing greater losses for colleges. Many schools that have on-campus housing and instruction have closed down just a few weeks into the semester. Schools like UNC Chapel-Hill have had several Covid-19 outbreaks already, and have shifted into fully remote instruction. We will keep you posted with an updated college list!

很多美國的大學都希望學生開學後的第一個學期可以在校園上學習。但因為美國的疫情非常的不穩定，這或許會對學校和當地的居民造成健康問題和負擔。但是，因為學生沒有付住宿費和其他的學雜費，對很多大學來說，線上教會給大學帶來巨大的財務負擔。由於學費保持不變，很多學生也推遲了入學時間，造成美國大學更大的損失。許多有校園住宿和教學的學校在學期剛開始的幾週後就關閉了。例如UNC Chapel-Hill已經發生過幾次Covid-19爆發案例，並且已完全轉向遠程教學。我們將會發佈更多有關這些學校的訊息！
