1️⃣ Thank you to the four guests who visited BID this week! On a Friday night, instead of going out for entertainment, they chose to join us for learning and growth. Among them was a fresh graduate, giving us the chance to meet more new friends.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Toastmasters 100th Anniversary Annual Conference, held on April 26–27, 2025. It was a truly unforgettable celebration, and we deeply appreciate your enthusiastic participation!

A heartfelt thank you to International President Spear for visiting Taiwan and joining us in commemorating this historic milestone. Your presence brought great honor and brilliance to the entire event.

Thank you to all BID members for gathering together, and it was a joy to reconnect with familiar faces from other clubs. The bonds and friendships we share are among the most treasured parts of Toastmasters.

Huge thanks to all the conference staff and performers, who began preparations as early as September. Your dedication, time, and hard work made this event smooth, successful, and full of memorable moments.

Special thanks to BID Coach Valerie for serving as the Conference Chair, and to BID member Darren, who not only led the promotion efforts but also gave a fantastic performance at the gala night—truly unforgettable!

First of all, a special thanks to our new member Arielle. Within just two short months of joining, she has actively participated and shared two wonderful speeches, taking us back to her unforgettable college days traveling around the island — truly touching and inspiring.

We also want to thank Jeffery for delivering his icebreaker speech. With a warm tone, he gave us a glimpse into his retirement life, helping us get to know him better and appreciate the beauty of different life stages.

At the same time, we’re grateful to the friends of Daniel, Eric, William, Bella, and Jeffery for coming today to show their support, which made our event even more lively and heartwarming.

Lastly, a special thank you to our president David. Not only does he oversee everything, but he also takes on multiple roles and contributes quietly behind the scenes — a true pillar of our team.

Allison Huang won second place in the 2024 nationwide English speech competition in Taiwan. This Friday, she will be hosting a workshop to share how she uses body language and movements on stage to make her speeches more engaging and lively.
