Despite some disruptions caused by global tensions, we were still able to welcome two groups of international physicians to Taiwan. They came with a shared goal—to refine and elevate their clinical skills.

Our sessions focused on detailed informative learning, with close interaction, live demonstrations, and in-depth discussions. Together, we explored advanced techniques in aesthetic treatments, especially in more challenging areas.

Grateful to keep moving forward together, and looking forward to welcoming more physicians from around the world.

After two international Masterclass groups last year, the feedback from doctors who returned home was incredibly enthusiastic. Many shared their experiences with colleagues — and this year, even more physicians have gathered in Taiwan to learn advanced regenerative injection techniques together.

In this Masterclass, we go beyond the face. Regenerative injectables can also be applied to the body to help improve tissue structure and refine contour lines through thoughtful, structural injection.

Throughout the course we explore:
• Regional anatomy of different treatment areas
• Mechanical principles behind injectable materials
• Advanced techniques using different needles and cannulas
• Practical strategies to achieve natural-looking results while maintaining a high level of safety during the injection process

Although this year’s program is already fully booked, it’s exciting to see the growing global interest in regenerative injection techniques and the exchange of ideas among physicians from different countries.

It’s been a while since I last picked up a brush. Here I made a small spring couplet for the Year of the Horse.

“馬到成功” (Mǎ dào chéng gōng) literally means “success arrives as the horse does.” It’s a traditional Chinese blessing wishing you smooth progress and quick success.

The medical field thrives on new generations stepping forward. Beyond refining treatment techniques and advancing clinical concepts, the ability to communicate ideas clearly and inspire others from the stage is also a vital part of physician development.

Over the course of a full quarter, the medical team at Merz Taiwan systematically nurtured the next generation of medical educators. I was honored to take part in leading this program, working alongside many outstanding physicians to exchange insights on aesthetic injection design and the application of regenerative materials.

With the right mindset and sound treatment principles, our shared goal is simple: to help more patients through responsible and thoughtful practice.

To be honest, I’ve never liked those sessions where one tiny move comes with a five-minute monologue.
In medical aesthetics, the patient — not the audience — should always be the focus.

What fascinates me is not how loud someone speaks, but how they think, how they plan, how they balance safety, precision, and beauty.
That’s the quiet part of mastery — the kind that speaks for itself.

On a pleasantly cool evening here in , I had the joy of exchanging ideas with friends from around the world—especially colleagues and experts from the Middle East—on skin and .

This year marks the first time the renowned has come to Dubai, a true melting pot of cultures, where perspectives and treatment approaches are more diverse than in many other regions. I shared my artistic approach to combining devices and injectables for the face and body, introduced my two books, our training center in , and AMWC Asia in .

The discussions were full of curiosity and enthusiasm—many are already planning to visit next spring. Plenty of questions were about techniques, but a few were about my age…

Final Day at AMWC: Mastering Lip Injections 👄

Honored to lead an entire session on lip injections at AMWC, bringing a balanced perspective to this highly popular treatment. While there are countless theories on lip augmentation, true artistry requires more than creativity—it demands a deep understanding of anatomy, injectables, and tissue response. Beautiful lips aren’t just about the lips themselves; they must harmonize with the lower face and the entire facial structure for a balanced, natural look.

The evening gala featured classic French cabaret dancers, a true Parisian experience. The live music reminded me how long it’s been since I last played my toys. 🥲

Neck lines are a common aesthetic concern! While aging of the skin and fascia can make them more prominent, neck lines themselves are not purely a sign of aging. The most effective way to treat them is by selecting the right injectable filler to precisely target and fill these fine depressions.

This technique requires meticulous precision—injecting at an extremely superficial depth with very small amounts of product. However, the clinical results are remarkably effective!

Last week, top trainers from Thailand 🇹🇭 came to Taiwan to level up their injection skills—tackling everything from neck lines to forehead contours.
