Never stop chasing your dream✈️
一開始兒子跟我說，他想去駕駛艙見機長。
向來不喜歡麻煩別人的我，其實不知道該怎麼幫他開口。
沒想到，他自己鼓起勇氣，直接去問空服員說飛機降落後能不能去見機長和參觀機艙。他回來跟我說空服員請我們下飛機時直接去機艙我還充滿懷疑 想說這孩子是認真的嗎？
沒想到幾個小時後，空少真的跑來告訴我：
「機長說沒問題，下飛機時可以帶他去駕駛艙！」
於是，在航程結束時，Tristan 如願見到機長 Ken。
Ken 不僅耐心介紹控制台，還問他喜歡哪種飛機、玩不玩飛行模擬器，最後更鼓勵他：
「當機長沒有什麼訣竅，最重要的是決心與堅持。」
想想飛了十幾個小時、正該下班休息的機組人員，依然熱情地接待一個小男孩，
讓我打從心底感動與感激。
更讓我驕傲的是兒子的勇敢——敢於追問、敢於追夢。
那一刻，我真的對他刮目相看。💙

💫Never underestimate a child’s courage
On our way back to Taiwan, Tristan suddenly said he wanted to visit the cockpit and meet the captain.
I had no idea how to ask for him.
But before I could even think of a way, he went ahead and asked the flight attendant himself.
He came back and told me the attendant said yes, we just had to head there after the flight.
Honestly, I didn’t quite believe him—was he for real?
A few hours later, the flight attendant actually came over and said,
“The captain’s happy to see him. Come to the cockpit after landing!”
And just like that, Tristan’s little dream came true.
He met Captain Ken, who not only showed him the controls but also asked about his favorite planes,
whether he played flight simulators, and finally told him:
“There’s no real secret to becoming a pilot. What matters most is determination and perseverance.”
These pilots had been flying for over ten hours and must’ve been exhausted,
yet they still welcomed a little boy with so much warmth.
I was honestly touched and so grateful.
And most of all—I was proud.
Proud that Tristan was brave enough to ask, brave enough to chase his dream.
It was the perfect ending to his 11-week study abroad in New Zealand.
