Before Mother’s Day, a sweet little “mission” quietly took place at TCS󠀠!

In Flora’s Chinese class, students created playful and heartfelt messages for their moms. Some were touching, some hilarious, and some surprisingly smooth.
󠀠
In English class, students also created handmade Mother’s Day cards. Grade 9 students took it a step further by writing full letters in English and putting their appreciation into words.
󠀠
Not every feeling is easy to say aloud, but on this day, students found their own way to express it.

在 Flora 老師帶領的國文課中，學生們寫下了一句句專屬於媽媽的「撩媽語錄」。
有些真情流露，有些讓人哭笑不得，還有些……真的很會。

而在英語課裡，學生們也親手完成母親節英文賀卡。
G9 的學生們，更進一步練習以英文書寫完整信件，將平常不太說出口的感謝與心意，
一字一句寫進卡片之中。

TCS Parent-Teacher Conference｜A Glimpse Into Everyday Learning
󠀠󠀠At the end of April, TCS held its Parent-Teacher Conference.

Parents stepped into their child’s daily learning—
catching glimpses of focused moments through classroom windows,
some even taking notes along the way.

Students, in turn, guided their parents through the campus,
sharing pieces of their everyday school life.

TCS G9 Hong Kong Trip: Stepping Into a Bigger World
This trip was more than a graduation journey for G9 —
it was one of their final shared memories before leaving campus.

For students, it was a step into the world.
For teachers, a meaningful challenge —
creating a safe space while allowing room to explore beyond borders.

Over three days in Hong Kong,
students experienced the city, culture, and new environments.

During free time,
they made choices, planned their routes,
and took ownership of their experiences.

As learning moved beyond the classroom,
the future became more tangible.

What they brought back
was more than memories —
it was a clearer sense of themselves in a bigger world.

TCS G9 香港旅行：走進世界的那一步
這趟旅程，
對 G9 來說，是一場畢業旅行，
也是國中時光最後一次共同回憶。

對孩子而言，
是向世界跨出的一步；
對隨隊老師來說，
則是一場不小的挑戰。

在校園之外，甚至跨越國界，
如何在確保安全的同時，
保留探索與觀察的空間，
本身就不容易。

在三天行程中，
孩子們穿梭城市、感受文化，
也在自由活動中學習做選擇、為自己負責。

當學習走出教室，
原本抽象的未來，
也慢慢變得具體。

這趟旅程帶走的，
或許不只是回憶，
而是在更大的世界裡，
開始看見自己的位置。

TCS G8 Camp Experience: Learning Through Doing Together
During this G8 overnight camp,
students stepped into a hands-on experience
connecting with the environment, themselves, and each other.

From beach clean-up to SUP activities,
they learned through action —
sometimes hesitant at first,
but quickly finding their rhythm.
󠀠
As the day went on,
setting up tents, building fires, and preparing meals
required teamwork and shared effort.
󠀠
Not everything went smoothly,
but that’s where the learning happened —
figuring things out together.
󠀠
In the evening,
through conversations and laughter,
connections naturally grew stronger.
󠀠
One teacher shared that
students showed an unexpected sense of unity.
Some who are usually more reserved
seemed more open and focused.

“It felt like they all grew up a little overnight.”
󠀠
What they took away
wasn’t just the activities,
but the experience of doing something together.

TCS G8 隔夜宿營：在兩天一夜裡悄悄長大的我們
這一次，G8 來到福隆海水浴場，
展開兩天一夜的隔宿露營。
󠀠
從動手淨灘開始，
孩子們彎下身拾起垃圾，
也在過程中慢慢理解與環境之間的關係。
󠀠
隨後在教練引導下進行 SUP 體驗，
有人一開始有些緊張，
但也很快投入其中。
󠀠
到了傍晚，
從搭帳、生火到烤肉，
每一個環節都需要分工與合作。
也正是在這些過程之中，孩子們慢慢學會如何一起完成一件事。

當夜幕降臨，在交流與笑聲之中，
彼此的距離也悄悄拉近。

隨隊的 Jason 老師提到，
孩子們展現出意料之外的凝聚力。
󠀠有些平日總是戴著口罩的學生，
在這趟旅程中放下了防備，
專注而認真的神情，
讓人不禁感慨，怎麼一轉眼，好像每個人都長大了一點。

TCS Experiential Learning Friday | G7 A One-Day Zoo Exploration
During this G7 trip to the zoo,
students did more than just see animals —
they explored how living things connect within their environments.

Unlike a typical visit,
the day began with a guided experience at the Insectarium.
As their anticipation to explore was briefly paused,
students learned to slow down, observe,
and notice the small but important details of life.
󠀠
From guided learning to independent exploration,
they asked questions, shared ideas,
and made sense of what they saw along the way.
󠀠
Some were curious about specific details;
some raised questions about ecosystems;
others simply chose to pause and look a little closer.
󠀠
One student shared,
“I wish we had more time to explore on our own.”
󠀠
Between guidance and freedom,
students began to discover how they learn best.

TCS 週五體驗式課程｜G7 動物園一日探索課程
這一次，G7 走進動物園，
不只是「看動物」，
而是在觀察與提問之中，慢慢理解牠們與環境之間的關係。

不同於以往直覺式的參觀，
這一次的動物園之旅，從昆蟲館的導覽開始。
󠀠
當原本期待著四處探索的心被暫時放慢，
學生在引導之中學會停下、觀看，
也重新理解那些微小卻重要的生命。

也許一開始，心還在別的展區；
但當真正開始觀察，
世界也慢慢變得不一樣。

從專業導覽，到後續的自由探索，
學生一邊觀察、一邊討論，
也在過程中練習如何提問、如何理解。

有時，是對某個細節的好奇；
有時，是一個關於生態的問題；
也有時，只是單純地停下來多看一會。

有學生在回饋中提到：
「如果可以多一點自己探索的時間就更好了。」

孩子們也慢慢找到最適合自己的學習方式。

TCS × Canadian Universities | Discovering Future Pathways Through Exchange
This time,
TCS transformed the campus into a mini university fair.
Representatives from four Canadian universities
set up booths for face-to-face conversations with students.

As soon as they were ready,
students gathered around almost instantly —
not by direction, but by genuine curiosity.

In just 50 minutes,
it became a high-value exchange.
󠀠
These opportunities reflect TCS’s ongoing connections with universities,
bringing real and diverse pathways closer to students.

這一次，
TCS 將校園變成一場小型的大學博覽會。

以攤位形式與學生面對面交流。

TCS × Kaohsiung High Schools Visit | A Conversation That Kept Growing
What was expected to be a brief 90-minute visit
turned into a conversation that no one quite wanted to end.
󠀠
TCS recently welcomed principals and educators from six high schools in Kaohsiung,
including ChungShan, Cianjhen, Renwu, Lin Yuan, Siaogang, and National Feng-Hsin Senior High School.
󠀠
Several of these schools are also partnered with School District No. 73 (BC),
offering a “2+1” dual diploma program.
With a shared international curriculum framework, it didn’t take long for everyone to find common ground.

From the initial overview
to the campus tour and classroom observations,
the time we had somehow felt too short.
󠀠
Questions came up along the way,
conversations naturally continued in the classrooms,
and what began as a formal visit gradually became more relaxed and engaging.

Because meaningful educational exchange
is never just about observing —
it’s about the dialogue that unfolds through shared experiences.

TCS × Kaohsiung High Schools Visit ｜一場越聊越熱絡的交流
原本以為短短一個半小時，
會是一場節奏緊湊的參訪，
沒想到，卻成為了一次意猶未盡的交流。
󠀠
這次，TCS 迎來來自高雄六所高中的校長與師長到訪，
包含 中山高中、前鎮高中、仁武高中、林園高中、小港高中與鳳新高中。
其中多所學校亦與加拿大卑詩省（BC）第73學區合作，
推動「2+1」臺加雙聯學制，
在相似的國際課程架構下，大家很快就找到共同語言。

從簡短的說明開始，
到校園導覽、走進教室實際觀課，
原本安排好的時間，似乎怎麼都不太夠。
有人邊看邊提問，
有人直接在教室裡討論起來，
氣氛也從一開始的正式，慢慢轉為輕鬆而自然。

教育的交流，從來不只是「觀摩」，
而是在彼此的對話之中，一點一點看見新的可能。
