In AlmaBurton, we not only focus on our Emotional Coaching but also your children’s schoolwork. We understand the importance of your children’s education. In our after-school program, we are dedicated to allowing your children to follow the school's curriculum. Furthermore, without the traditional way of telling students what to write, we allow your children to use critical thinking and imagination to explore their own thoughts. Our teachers will help to finesse the details such as grammar and spelling so your children can maintain their curiosity and joy.

AlmaBurton is a place that cares for your children and their future. 9/5 was our first open house day and we had some wonderful parents that are interested in our Emotional Coaching (EC) lessons. We went through our plans and ideas for children’s future, emotional coaching classes for both parents and students, as well as our robotic coding lessons. Here at Alma Burton we are dedicated to prepare your children to their limit and beyond. We are looking forward to prepare and help your children to fight and concur the obstacles and the world.

家庭作業，是孩子們強大的敵人。作業不僅阻礙孩子們使用 iPad 也降低他們的空閒時間。大多數孩子在做作業時會感到生氣或沮喪，在完成作業時他們非常被動。以前的教育方式，老師往往會對孩子大喊大叫、催孩子做作業。這不僅會增加您孩子的壓力，還會降低孩子高效完成家庭作業的意願。

Homework, an educational enemy for children that prevents them from ipad and free time. Most children feel angry or frustrated while doing their homework and they are very passive when it comes to finishing it. With the former way of education, teachers tend to yell and scream to urge children to do homework. This not only amplifies pressure for your children but also decreases the willingness for children to do their homework productively.

Here is Alma Burton, we encourage children instead of giving them pressure. We want your children to enjoy the process of doing their homework proactively; rather than doing something forcefully. We want to help your children to develop the mindset of solving their problems themselves. If they think doing homework is dull, what are some other ways to make it interesting and related to academics. With our Emotional Coaching(EC)lessons - focusing on the exploration of emotions through coding - children can apply these emotions to their studies which improve their self-discipline and critical thinking. Furthermore, they can apply these technical skills especially when computing technics are so crucial at the moment.

Combining games with our AlmaBurton lessons, our children are able to understand and appreciate different emotions— what to feel, and how to feel under various situations. Here in AlmaBurton, we are using brand new techniques of teaching to further enrich the learning environment of our children and amplify the knowledge and experience that our children can receive while having fun.

從安全的開放的環境裡，讓孩子能感到安心的訴說自己真實的心情

面對別人的How are you?，再也不用總是回答：I am fine. Thank you.

這些情緒都是好的 All Okay to feel.
We are going to plan about what we can do to feel those feelings.
And then everyday, we’re going to follow the plan.
然後我們一起面對所有的情緒，反覆的練習並合宜的面對。

Emotion is something we feel in our daily lives. We perceive different sentiments throughout various situation. However, sometimes these emotions overtake our senses, thus, it is very important for our children to learn and understand how to cope with these emotions and to learn how to utilise this ability.

"All okay to feel. We are going to plan about what we can do to feel these feelings. And then everyday, we're going to follow the plan. " In Alma Burton, a safe and open environment, we can let your children feel at ease and tell their true feelings. Instead of answering "I'm fine. Thank you" to the question "how are you?", children are able to explore all their feelings and share them with the world with no hesitation.
