Building on this week’s dental health theme, our children transformed into little dentists and learned how to take care of healthy teeth! 💛

Using white clay, students rolled and shaped tiny teeth before arranging them inside a mouth model to create their own adorable 3D dental projects 🦷✨

As they worked, something unexpected and funny happened! One child added small black dots to the teeth and excitedly said, “Oh no! This tooth has a cavity! I need to fix it!” 😆

Inspired by the children's ideas, we added plaque and cavities to the models, making the activity even more realistic and engaging. Immediately, the children stepped into their roles as little dentists, carefully examining each tooth and helping their “patients” take care of unhealthy teeth 💕

Through hands-on creation and imaginative play, students not only expressed their creativity but also reinforced the dental health knowledge they learned earlier in the week.
They discovered that caring for teeth is about more than just brushing—it’s also about noticing changes and keeping every tooth healthy and strong! 🪥😁







延續本週認識牙醫師的活動，今天孩子們搖身一變，成為照顧牙齒健康的「小小牙醫」！

大家先運用白色黏土搓出一顆顆圓滾滾的牙齒，再將牙齒排列在口腔裡，完成立體又可愛的牙齒作品。小手忙著捏一捏、搓一搓，每個人都做得十分投入。

創作過程中，出現了意想不到的有趣發展！有孩子在牙齒上畫上黑黑的小點，開心地說：「牙齒蛀牙了！我要幫它看牙！」😆

受到孩子們的啟發，我們一起幫牙齒加上牙菌斑和蛀牙，讓作品變得更加生動。孩子們也立刻進入角色扮演模式，化身成小小牙醫，仔細檢查每一顆牙齒，幫忙照顧生病的牙齒，認真又可愛的模樣讓人忍不住會心一笑。

透過創作與遊戲，孩子們不僅發揮了豐富的想像力，也將昨天學習到的牙齒保健知識自然融入活動中。原來照顧牙齒不只是刷牙而已，還要學會觀察牙齒的狀況，才能讓每一顆牙齒都健康又漂亮喔！🪥

G4 students traveled to Heping Island in Keelung for a special field trip that combined snorkeling and water safety education! 🌊

Upon arrival, instructors introduced the snorkeling equipment, including masks, snorkels, water shoes, and life jackets, and explained how to use them properly. Students then introduced themselves and shared what they hoped to learn during the experience ✨

After practicing how to wear and use the equipment, students first entered a shallow-water area to become comfortable with the gear and build confidence in the water. Once ready, they headed into deeper water for their snorkeling adventure! 🐠

While snorkeling, students observed marine life and explored the underwater world up close, experiencing the beauty and diversity of ocean ecosystems.
The program also included important water safety lessons. Students learned how to call for help if they were in danger and how to respond safely if they encountered someone in distress in the water 🛟

At the end of the day, students reflected on their experiences by drawing the part of the lesson that made the biggest impression on them and sharing their thoughts with classmates 🎨

The students completed an unforgettable ocean adventure, taking home wonderful memories and valuable learning experiences along the way 💙




G4 的特色旅遊這次來到了基隆和平島，展開一場結合浮潛體驗與水域安全教育的海洋探索之旅！🌊

抵達現場後，教練先向孩子們介紹浮潛所需的裝備，包括面鏡、呼吸管、防滑鞋及救生衣，並詳細說明正確的使用方式。接著進行自我介紹，讓教練能快速認識每位孩子，也讓大家分享自己最期待學習的內容，為一天的課程揭開序幕✨

在練習穿戴裝備後，孩子們先到淺水區熟悉水性與裝備操作，建立信心並適應在水中的感覺。準備就緒後，大家正式前往深水區體驗浮潛！🐠

透過浮潛，孩子們近距離觀察海洋生態與海底生物，親身感受海洋世界的奧妙與美麗。除了探索海洋之外，課程也融入重要的水域安全教育，孩子們學習如果自己遇到危險時該如何求救，以及發現他人溺水時應採取哪些正確且安全的救援方式🛟

課程最後，孩子們將今天印象最深刻的學習內容畫下來，並與同學分享自己的發現與感受。孩子們帶著滿滿的收穫與美好回憶，完成了一次難忘的海洋冒險💙

Some students enjoy fashionable outfits and carefully chosen accessories. Others prefer sporty looks that are comfortable and active. Of course, there are also adorable styles, cool styles, and many creative combinations that reflect each child’s personality 💛

Walking through campus feels like a mini fashion show, with every student confidently expressing who they are. At Horizon, we believe education is not only about learning knowledge—it is also about understanding yourself and expressing your individuality. From daily choices to personal style, children are learning to become their authentic selves 🌱

Every outfit tells a story, and that uniqueness is what makes each child shine 💕

還記得以前每到便服日，校園裡總是充滿各式各樣的公主裝。
而現在，隨著孩子們慢慢長大，大家也開始找到屬於自己的風格。

Our children became adorable little fashion designers as they created their very own unique shirts 👕💛

First, the teachers helped secure the yarn onto cotton swabs and then guided the children step by step as they practiced threading the cotton swabs through the holes, introducing them to simple sewing techniques. For our young learners, this activity was not only a fun art project, but also a wonderful way to develop fine motor skills and hand–eye coordination ✨

After finishing sewing, the children used crayons to color their shirts and freely decorated them with colorful foam stickers. Some chose rainbow colors, while others created cute patterns—each design was full of imagination and creativity 🌈

From carefully threading the yarn to proudly completing their designs, the children developed patience, confidence, and artistic expression through hands-on learning.

Watching everyone proudly show off their fashionable creations was both heartwarming and absolutely adorable 💖







孩子們化身可愛的小裁縫師，動手完成專屬自己的創意上衣👕💛

活動中，老師先協助固定毛線與棉花棒，引導孩子練習將棉花棒對準洞口，一步一步進行穿線與滾邊縫。對小班孩子來說，這不只是美勞創作，更是手部小肌肉與手眼協調的重要練習✨

完成穿線後，孩子們再運用蠟筆幫衣服塗上繽紛色彩，搭配美麗的泡棉貼自由裝飾。有的喜歡彩虹色、有的設計可愛圖案，每一件作品都充滿童趣與創意🌈

從專注穿線，到開心完成作品，孩子們在操作中培養耐心、自信與美感能力。看著大家驕傲展示自己的「時尚設計」，真的可愛又有成就感呢！💖

G1 students recently began exploring the fascinating world of deserts 🌵
The class started by reading Meerkat Mail, learning about meerkats and their desert habitat while also preparing for a future letter-writing activity 📮

As they listened to the story, students excitedly discussed questions like, “Is the desert really that hot?” and “Where do meerkats live?” 👀

After exploring the desert world, students created their own adorable meerkats 🦦
The children carefully colored, cut, and decorated their artwork, giving each meerkat its own unique personality. Some looked cute and funny, while others looked like little desert guards keeping watch!
Once finished, the classroom windows were lined with a whole row of adorable meerkats, making the space feel just like a lively desert world.

Through reading and creative activities, students learned more about animals and environments while also developing observation skills, creativity, and imagination 🌈




G1 的孩子們最近來到了神秘的沙漠世界🌵
老師先帶著孩子們閱讀繪本《Meerkat Mail》，透過故事認識狐獴的生活環境與特色，也為之後的英文書信活動做準備📮
大家一邊聽故事，一邊好奇地討論：「沙漠真的這麼熱嗎？」、「狐獴平常都住在哪裡呢？」👀

認識完沙漠世界後，孩子們也開始動手創作屬於自己的小小狐獴🦦
大家仔細地剪貼、上色與裝飾，每一隻狐獴都有不同的特色。有的看起來呆萌可愛，有的則像正在警戒沙漠危險的小隊長！
完成後，教室窗邊瞬間多了一整排可愛的狐獴，彷彿真的來到熱鬧的沙漠世界。

透過繪本閱讀與創作活動，孩子們不只認識了不同的自然環境與動物，也在過程中培養觀察力、創造力與想像力🌈
