On Children's Literature

Let me introduce you to another awesome 🤩 book 📕 by one of my favorite authors, Dallas Clayton.

Seuss-isms is a little book 📖 full of wisdom from many of Dr. Seuss’s books 📚. It’s a small collection of his witty words on his philosophy about life. I encourage you to read out loud those selections I posted here and see how you feel after you read aloud.
蘇斯博士的這本小書 “蘇斯主義説” 是一本選集。小書📖蒐集了他在不同作品中對某些主題的説法； 最難的部分在於蘇博士必須用最簡單、又有趣的字句寫出小朋友也讀得懂的人生大道理。您不妨試試大聲念出來我選出的片段，感受一下朗讀的樂趣。

On the back pages of these two books 📖, there are the written proofs by my two boys recording the time they each finished reading them independently. There’s even a drawing of Charlotte by my mom when she was visiting us.

How would you define children’s literature? In his book “The Hidden Adult “, Perry Nodelman wrote a whole book trying to find out the meaning; because the subtitle is : “Defining Children’s Literature.” What is your thought on the term?

An Awesome Book of Thanks by Dallas Clayton is one of my favorite books 📚. Recently I just read aloud the book to my RCL(Reading Children’s Literature) class. I would like to share with you the following sayings: “Thanks for taking time, thanks for going fast 💨. Thanks for jumping high, thanks for finishing last. Because first isn’t always the best place to be. Thanks for second and fifth, on through 453.” I truly agree with Dallas that no matter which place you’re put, be thankful.
