Past events cannot be changed.

全心全意 (quánxīn-quányì) means "wholeheartedly" or "with the whole heart". We often put that before the verb and you can add 地 to mark that it's an adverb.

他全心全意幫我媽媽工作。
他全心全意帮我妈妈工作。
Tā quánxīn-quányì bāng wǒ māma gōngzuò.
He wholeheartedly helps my mom with her work.

我哥哥全心全意地照顧他的小孩。
我哥哥全心全意地照顾他的小孩。
Wǒ gēge quánxīn-quányì de zhàogù tā de xiǎohái.
My older brother takes care of his child wholeheartedly.

Zhǐyǒu quánxīn-quányì xuéxí, nǐ de hànyǔ cái huì gèng liúlì.

終於/终于 (zhōngyú) means "finally". It's used for something you have been wanting to happen.

我終於從大學畢業了！
我终于从大学毕业了！
Wǒ zhōngyú cóng dàxué bìyè le!
I finally graduated from university!

你終於來了，我等你好久了！
你终于来了，我等你好久了！
Nǐ zhōngyú lái le, wǒ děng nǐ hǎojiǔ le!
You finally came! I have been waiting for you for so long!

放假了，我終於可以好好休息了。
放假了，我终于可以好好休息了。
Fàngjià le, wǒ zhōngyú kěyǐ hǎohǎo xiūxí le.

受歡迎/受欢迎 (shòu huānyíng) means “Be Popular”, and you can put a degree adverb like 很、非常 before it. It literally means "to be welcomed by..." so if you want to express "popular among...", you can say it in the pattern of "受 sb 歡迎/欢迎".

這家餐廳的甜點很受歡迎。
这家餐厅的甜点很受欢迎。
Zhè jiā cāntīng de tiándiǎn hěn shòu huānyíng.
The desserts at this restaurant are very popular.

我聽說你弟弟在新公司非常受歡迎。
我听说你弟弟在新公司非常受欢迎。
Wǒ tīngshuō nǐ dìdi zài xīn gōngsī fēicháng shòu huānyíng.
I heard that your younger brother is very popular at his new company.

願意/愿意 (yuànyì) means "be willing to". It's used to express that someone has the intention to do something.

你願意跟我結婚嗎？

Nǐ yuànyì gēn wǒ jiéhūn ma?
Are you willing to get married with me?

他願意跟我一起去旅行。
他愿意跟我一起去旅行。
Tā yuànyì gēn wǒ yīqǐ qù lǚxíng.
He is willing to travel with me.

她英文很好，也願意出國工作。
她英文很好，也愿意出国工作。
Tā yīngwén hěn hǎo, yě yuànyì chūguó gōngzuò.
Her English is very good, and she is also willing to work abroad.

親身/亲身 （qīnshēn） means “personal“ and it’s used to emphasize something is first handed.

這是我的親身經驗，你要相信我。
这是我的亲身经验，你要相信我。
Zhè shì wǒ de qīnshēn jīngyàn, nǐ yào xiāngxìn wǒ.
This is my personal experience, you should believe me.

到了紐約，我才親身感受到北方的冬天。
到了纽约，我才亲身感受到北方的冬天。
Dàole Niǔyuē, wǒ cái qīnshēn gǎnshòu dào běifāng de dōngtiān.
After arriving in New York, I personally felt the northern winter.

沒有親身體驗，你不會知道他的感覺。
没有亲身体验，你不会知道他的感觉。
Méiyǒu qīnshēn tǐyàn, nǐ bù huì zhīdào tā de gǎnjué.

親自/亲自（qīnzì）means “personally“ and it’s used to express that someone does something themselves. It implies that they take it seriously and don't want others to do it for them.

老師親自來幫我們做這個報告。

Lǎoshī qīnzì lái bāng wǒmen zuò zhège bàogào.
The teacher personally came to help us with this report.

他親自去機場接朋友，怕朋友迷路。
他亲自去机场接朋友，怕朋友迷路。
Tā qīnzì qù jīchǎng jiē péngyǒu, pà péngyǒu mílù.
He himself went to the airport to pick up his friend, fearing they would get lost.

這個客戶很重要，所以老闆親自參加了會議。

Zhège kèhù hěn zhòngyào, suǒyǐ lǎobǎn qīnzì cānjiāle huìyì.
