［近二十載情誼再深化——新加坡拉薩爾藝術學院訪北藝大，正式簽署學生交換協議］
9 月 16 日，新加坡拉薩爾藝術學院（LASALLE College of the Arts, University of the Arts Singapore）校長 Venka Purushothaman 教授、創意產業學院院長 Jonathan Gander 副教授，以及全球參與處處長 Cindy Phua 一行蒞臨本校參訪。本校由劉錫權校長率副校長林劭仁教授、主任秘書詹嘉慧、國際長陳家輝教授等師長熱忱接待。兩校早在 2007 年即正式締結為姊妹校，本次拜訪更在既有合作備忘錄的穩固架構下，正式簽署「學生交換協議」，為兩校跨越近二十載的夥伴關係寫下嶄新實質合作篇章。

作為跨國國際聯盟「校園共享（Shared Campus）」的核心合作夥伴，北藝大與拉薩爾藝術學院長期互動密切；2023 年兩校更曾與瑞士蘇黎世藝術大學、日本東京藝術大學、香港浸會大學、英國倫敦藝術大學等多所全球頂尖藝術院校代表齊聚北藝大科技藝術館，共襄盛舉。此次簽訂交換生協議，雙方學生未來將能展開一學期的移地研修，在兼具多元族群與國際視野的校園環境中汲取創作養分，開拓全球藝術職涯。

在交流會談中，兩校針對近年國際高等藝術教育的關鍵趨勢展開前瞻對話，包含多元族群與多語言授課環境的經營經驗、畢業生職涯追蹤機制，以及生成式 AI 與當代藝術創作的共生關係；關於未來共同展演與藝術節的呈現方式，亦已進行意見交流。此外，針對北藝大近期與「臺灣創造性藝術治療聯盟」簽署合作備忘錄、攜手推動藝術治療專業化與證照發展之進展，外賓亦表達高度肯定與濃厚興趣，期盼未來能在藝術與社會療癒等跨領域實踐激盪更多對話。

會後，外賓一行特別移步參觀本校藝術與科技中心。面對拉薩爾近年重點投入的藝術科技方向，外賓對展間各項展品技術與空間配置展現極高熱忱，並積極探討未來將 Shared Campus 跨國共創與聯展導入該空間的可能性。中午餐敘時，前國際長林亞婷教授亦到場敘舊致意，雙方在溫馨熱絡的氛圍中持續勾勒兩校願景，為此次參訪畫下圓滿句點。

[Deepening a 20-Year Partnership: LASALLE College of the Arts Visits TNUA to Sign Student Exchange Agreement]
On September 16, TNUA welcomed a delegation from LASALLE College of the Arts (University of the Arts Singapore), led by President Professor Venka Purushothaman, Associate Professor Jonathan Gander (Head, School of Creative Industries), and Cindy Phua (Director of Global Engagement). The delegation was warmly received by TNUA President Hsi-Chuan Liu, Vice President Shao-Jen Lin, Secretary-General Chia-hui Chan, and Dean of International Affairs Chia-Hui Chen. Building on a sister-school relationship established in 2007, both institutions officially signed a Student Exchange Agreement under their existing MOU framework, marking an exciting new chapter in substantive collaboration.

As core partners of the international Shared Campus alliance, TNUA and LASALLE have fostered deep academic ties over the years. Through this new exchange agreement, students from both universities will be able to spend a semester studying abroad, immersing themselves in diverse cultural environments and expanding their global artistic pathways.

During the meeting, leadership from both institutions exchanged valuable insights on key trends shaping international arts education. Discussions focused on managing multicultural and multilingual learning environments, tracking graduate career pathways, navigating the intersection of generative AI and contemporary creative practice, and envisioning future joint exhibitions and festivals. The delegation also showed strong interest in TNUA’s recent MOU with the Creative Arts Therapies Alliance Taiwan to advance professional licensing, looking forward to future cross-disciplinary dialogue in arts and social healing.

Following the signing ceremony, the guests visited TNUA’s Center for Art and Technology. Given LASALLE’s ongoing commitment to art and tech, the delegates explored current works and facilities while discussing possibilities for staging future Shared Campus collaborative showcases here. The visit concluded with a warm luncheon joined by former Dean of International Affairs Professor Yatin Lin, bringing the day's fruitful discussions to a wonderful close.

OPEN CALL: Shared Campus – Transcultural Collaboration 2027

Are you ready to broaden your artistic practice, engage in international cross-cultural exchange, and collaborate with creative minds from around the globe? Applications are officially open for the Transcultural Collaboration program!

Transcultural Collaboration is a unique, interdisciplinary international program open to BA & MA students across fine arts, music, performing arts, art education, curatorial studies, and design. 25 selected participants will join forces in cross-cultural teams to explore pressing global themes through practice-based experimentation, workshops, excursions, and mentoring, culminating in a three weeks practice in Yogyakarta, Indonesia!

✨Application for [MOE-TNUA Elite Scholarship Program: Scholarship for Lecturers from South and Southeast Asia] is now open ✨
This scholarship is open to current full-time university lecturers or researchers from South and Southeast Asia who are interested in pursuing Doctoral/Master's degree programs in Taiwan for the first semester of the 2027 academic year. The application deadline is October 12th , 2026.

ELIGIBILITY
👉Doctoral/Master degree-seeking applicants who are currently university lecturers or professors in South and Southeast Asia and expected to be admitted to Doctoral/Master degree programs for the first semester of the 2027 academic year.

👉Applicants for an Elite Scholarship must apply directly to Taipei National University of the Arts for foreign student admission of Fall Semester, 2027. Foreign student admission period starts from January to March, 2027. (to be confirmed by mid-December) The enrollment term is the Fall semester of the 2027 academic year.

👀Please note that admission applications and scholarship applications are separate. An applicant who receives this Elite Scholarship award is NOT guaranteed a TNUA entrance admission, and vice versa.

新學期開始，歡迎所有的境外學生回到北藝大！這學期（115-1）國際處繼續和臺北城市科技大學合作，幫大家準備了超實用的華語課。為了照顧不同華語程度的同學，我們這次同時開了Book 1 跟 Book 2。Book 1 由侯老師帶領大家從頭打好基礎，Book 2 則由史老師陪大家進階練習，課程安排在每週一和週三。透過華語課的學習，希望能讓大家在台灣更有自信地説中文！對了，國際處還有提供華語檢定補助跟其他學習資源，有興趣的同學隨時都可以來詢問喔～

Welcome to TNUA to all our foreign students! For this 115-1 semester, the OIA is teaming up again with Taipei City University of Science and Technology to bring back our Chinese language classes. Whether you're completely new or looking to take your skills further, we've got you covered with both Contemporary Chinese Book 1 (taught by Prof. Hou) and Book 2 (taught by Prof. Shih). Classes run every Mondays and Wednesdays. It's a great opportunity to make your daily life in Taiwan much easier! Don't forget that OIA also offers test subsidies and extra learning support, drop by or reach out if you want to apply!

國際事務處於9月4日為不同身分入學的同學舉辦了說明會。當晚留學生社團接棒，舉辦了115學年度境外生迎新活動。

迎新活動特別感謝國際合作組楊育睿組長蒞臨致詞，並為新生勉勵與鼓舞。而後同學們便開始用餐與交流。同學之間的互動與連結始終是迎新活動的核心目標，也希望大家能在北藝大的校園裡，遇見如故知般的朋友。本次參與迎新的同學來自世界各地，在多元文化的交織下，相信必能為北藝大帶來更加豐富多元的校園風貌。

On September 4, the Office of International Affairs hosted orientation sessions for students admitted under different statuses, including international degree students, overseas Chinese students, and exchange students. That evening, the Foreign Student Association took over and organized a welcome party for international students for the 2026 academic year.

We would like to express our special thanks to Louise Yang, Section Chief of the International Cooperation, for joining the welcome party and offering words of encouragement to the new students. Following her remarks, the students enjoyed dinner and mingled with one another. Fostering interaction and connections among students has always been at the heart of our welcome activities. We hope that everyone will find kindred spirits and make lasting friendships on the TNUA campus.

This year’s participants come from around the world. As cultures from many different countries come together, they are sure to bring greater diversity and vibrancy to the TNUA community.

Summer School 2026 - Hacking Global Pop Icons

"Falling in Love with AI"
In this cross-disciplinary summer school a global pop icon or phenomenon serves as the starting point for cultural analysis, discussing the different perspectives of the participants and from there, creating art works, performances or interventions in mixed groups towards a public pop-up event.

This years' focus was on AI used as a tool to replace human relationships. AI is increasingly used to simulate companionship and intimacy. While these tools can alleviate loneliness, psychologists warn that they lack emotional reciprocity, or contain risks like deskilling and dependency.

14 young artists of the Shared Campus partners institutions in Kyoto, Singapore, Taipei, and Zurich have developed interactive installations and would love to share their work with you.

It's Shared Campus time! 🤝💥

SAC students Raf (Raf 李瑞福), Jafeth (Jafeth Cabrera) and Jenni (J E N N I) were selected to this year's "Hacking Global Pop Icons" Shared Campus Program; the first part took place online earlier this month, and yesterday they kicked off the on-site stage of the Program, here in Taipei!

Students from Singapore and Zurich joined the group and everyone had a welcome day to get to know each other and explore TNUA's campus. Later on, they went to Dadaocheng area for a tour!

We're excited to see the results of this experience. Good luck to everyone! 🔥
